We contracted with FCI to pave our driveway which is 425' long. The original scheduled date was the week of July 4th. Unfortunately due to another contractor not completing another project at our property we had to postpone the installation. FCI worked with us to reschedule with no issues and even offered to refund our deposit because of the long period between the original scheduled date and the new planned date. The result was an install date in late October which is when our other construction project was finally finished. Our scheduled pave date wound up being the week that hurricane Sandy was impacting our area. So to complete the installation FCI prepped the drive on Friday and paved on the Saturday before Sandy struck. Had they not done this, I'm not sure we'd have got the drive paved until next spring given the weather. I truly appreciated the effort the crew from FCI put in to get our driveway paved. After 7 years of shale and dirt, it's been wonderful to have a paved driveway this winter. The driveway is nice and smooth. We opted to go with the better grade asphalt and I'm glad we did. We were quoted a thicker layer of asphalt for the same or lower price than contractors were offering. I would highly recommend FCI for driveway paving.

I got a bid for a driveway extension, sept 2011, made $1000 down payment, told it would be 3 to 5 weeks at the latest to complete. It took 6 months. Bill came, they added $400 on to the estimate. Called, Told me to " READ THE FINE PRINT ON THE CONTRACT" WOW!!!!. They can add on what ever they want to the bill. THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THEY DO TO YOU PROPERTY, "READ THE FINE PRINT"
My existing driveway was left looking like garbage, all scratched and gouged up and covered with dirt. But they are not responsible.
Seems they don't care about the small contracts, just the big city contracts. It is going to cost me another $600 to have someone else repair the damage done by them. They are NOT RESPONSIBLE for the damage they do.
What they added looks good, but the way they left everthing else NOT GOOD.
I reccomend calling someone else.
