They gave us all options running tests, body scans, ect. However they were very sensitive and understanding because my mother and I were both visibly emotional messes. Afer much discussuion with them about his qualilty of life we made the hardest decision to put him down. They let us sit with him and gave the option to be with him while they put him to sleep I could not do it however since I could not because I was overly emotional one of the nurses there sat with him for me. Overall they were very compassionate and understanding to everyting. The $278 included Office Visit, putting him down and cremation of his remains.

I had been taking my animals to Fayette Veterinary Hospital for the past 5 years. Dr. Stevenson was amazing with animals, and was very down to earth. He had a common sense approach to healthcre that I appreciated.
Last year he retired. The group who took over are fine, qualified professionals, but I am not as comfortable with them. Also, the cost has increased so that with several pets, and one with special needs, I have to be very careful about routine care.
My border collie is diabetic and prone to skin and ear infections. I have had him for over 11 years. In addition to testing that was necessary to diagnose the infection and monitor the diabetes, the new vet suggested some advanced, costly testing to reveal the dogs age and genetic disposition to disease. I felt it was a little late in the game for that and declined putting hm through the stress and, honestly, me the expense.
I recently decided to look for an alternative center within the Mon Valley.

We really like him. They are very inexpensive. He has a great sense of knowledge in animals. He handles the animals very well.
