He is a very nice man but knows absolutely nothing about tiling! I hired him to remove a shower enclosure and replace with a tiled shower. He couldn't get the floor to drain after putting 3 layers of tile, concrete, & mortar. It never did drain..Then the walls. First He was unable to do a patterned tile. It was horrible. Instead of removing it He put another layer of tile on top of it, which looked almost as bad. My shower was 36x36 when he started and ended up being 24x27". It would be good for a child or a pet not an adult! Finally we agreed He was not the man for the job. He did refund my money and an extra $500 but, I'm still out over $1,000 for materials that has to be demolished and start over. He started the jod Oct 16,23 and Nov. 20,23. It still was not done! It was only supposed to take a week and 6 weeks later it still was not completed! Maybe because he never started before 9:30-10.30 and was usually gone by 1 or shortly after. We decided to end the contract and I still don't have a shower! He is a very nice man but I believe he took on more than he had the knowledge to do. I would not recommend him for this type of work.
