The garage project was a disaster. It took me over 6 years of legal litigation and much mental duress to finally reach an arbitrated finding in my favor of approximately $8,800.00 with the finding that Mr. Britton failed to meet the terms of the building contract. Mr. Britton failed to honor the terms of a contract that he wrote. He failed to even attempt to fix or repair errors made during the construction of my garage. Beware of the arbitration clause in his contracts. After agreeing on the choice of an arbitrator with Mr. Britton, Mr. Britton brought the arbitrator to my property. When the arbitrator started making suggestions as to Mr. Britton remedying some of the problems Mr. Britton told the arbitrator to go away and that he would take care of it himself. At that point I had no choice but to hire an attorney. I now have a judgement filed in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania against Tim Britton Construction Services that Mr. Britton has made no attempt to satisfy.
I am currently involved in civil litigation in Jefferson County Court with Tim Britton Construction Co.
Any person reading this report is welcome to come and examine the finished structure. I will also make available photographs of the workmanship and the resulting damage that Mr. Britton claims is a good and satisfactory product. I have had to pay other contractors to correct and repair parts of the project that needed immeadiate attention and could not wait for the litigation process to culminate. There are still major defects that Mr. Britton has chosen to ignore.State Contractor License Requirements
