We renamed the company Larry, Moe and Curly, Inc., during the process. Our first two meetings were excellent: on-time and professionally handled. After that, it was a comedy of errors. It took six months to complete a 380 foot addition to an existing house. The measurements were poorly executed. We have a two-foot indentation in the new bedroom because of poor measuring. We mentioned this to the contractor after we saw the framing, but he said that we were wrong. We weren't wrong. The first week's work was excellent and supervised. For the next five months and three weeks, the work was unsupervised and poorly-organized: generally 1-2 people showed up, 2-3 days per week. No supervision. Poor work habits. We are still waiting for some of the work to be completed and it is 7 months and counting. It was our mistake to pay 90% by the completion of the framing. One month into the project the contractor had his money and we weren't important!
