The quote I was given was for specific trimming of specific trees. The largest of the trees was to be topped. When the crew was there, they told me that after completing the trimming and thinning, it was decided not to top the tree because they thought it would be too much stress for the tree. The crew chief went on to explain that to do the topping would require them to climb each limb and cut the top third off, which was included in the quote. So I assumed that when it wasn’t done it would impact the price (reduce it). So I texted Patty the next morning to ask about it, tell her several tools were left in the back yard and asked for an invoice. She wrote me back to say that the crew chief told her they had actually done MORE work than was quoted. So I called her to get a clarification, leaving her a voicemail mid afternoon ask her to call me so I could understand the two different explanation I’d been given. I received no call back. Instead, my doorbell rang at 9:20 at night with three people from the company (Patty and two men) with my invoice and another explanation of how more work had been done than quoted??? She gives me the invoice and then tells me she will wait for me to pay her on the spot....at 9:30 at night! SUPER unprofessional. Never again! I told them to take their sign and I will make sure everyone possible hears this story.

Went great. Arrived on time for estimate. Walked me through the job and marked the trees. Was notified night before of start date. Yard looks great and kids are safer without dead branches overhead! Joe is very pleasant to work with.

The pricing was comparable. It did take them a little while to come out, so they didn’t come right away but that wasn’t a major concern for us because it was a smaller job. I wasn’t here when they did the work but they did an excellent job. All of the interaction with them over the phone for scheduling was fantastic.

All work completed as agreed. Clean up was great.

It didn't go well, clearly and he had no good explanation of why it happened. Replaced my 2 gutters promptly but refused to do anything about the bent shingles and metal trim on the edges of my brand new roof. Refused to do anything about the sap with needles stuck to the shingles on my roof. Refused to do anything about my scratched siding, nor the sticky sap over areas of the siding. Refused to do anything about my bent grill. Never cleaned up any of the small loose tree branches or pine needles throughout the patio and yard. He offered me $100 to forget about it. I said no. He got belligerent and rude and very unprofessional. He clearly proved he is not a good person and businessman. I would never recommend him to anyone.

They were very nice, efficient, and did a great job. We asked them to come back and there was no problem. I would highly recommend them and the price is also very fair.

I called the company because they left a sign in a neighbor's front yard, and Joe George came early the next morning for an estimate. I did obtain a second quote from another company, but Joe's was equivalent and he seemed more knowledgeable about one particular problem tree, Patty in the office put my job on the list, and they called about a week later to say they would be in the neighborhood the following Monday. I expected Joe to be there to direct the crew, but he wasn't, so I had to run home briefly to explain the job to John the leader. As the job progressed, he asked for my opinions and permission on a couple of the trees about some further pruning and shaping, and he shaped one additional bush at no additional cost. The job took about three hours; the crew was knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, and polite. They cleaned up all the loose branches and leaves before they left. I was impressed overall, and will be happy to call them again.

Gentleman showed up, looked at tree, stated it needed to be topped off. He told my husband that the work would tie up his whole crew all day and he couldn't do that. Wrote down an estimate of $2000 on the back of a business card. He obviously didn't want the work. If he felt he couldn't do the work we needed, should have just told us so instead of being unprofessional. Service we chose to go with did work for less than half of the $2000 est. and did an amazing job.

We needed two 40' trees in a tight space behind a fence cut down. We wanted to keep all the wood for our son to cut up and stack for the fireplace, so they just needed to bring the trees down. Got quotes from 3 companies. George's came quickly to look the job over and then gave a quote over the phone. They showed up on time to do the job, did the work quickly and professionally and had the most competitive price. Also, their crew was a pleasure to deal with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. When I need work done in the future, I'll definitely call them.

George's Tree service did a great job. Their prices were good. Their crew was very hard-working - they stayed until 7pm finishing up and the clean up was great. Most tellingly of all, the owner was happy to highlight work that DIDN'T need doing, rather than taking our money and doing extra unnecessary work. I will definitely use these guys again.

We picked George's Tree Service from Angies List. We did get quotes from different companies, but I would say theirs was adequate.
