Contacted Scotty Horn to have a water run from my house to a new garage and a septic added to the garage. He gave me advice on what options I had and how he had done it on his own new garage. Her and his team were willing to work with us on timing and fitting around other parts of the build to get key items done before the cement floor was poured. His crew were great to work with, the work was done quickly and unlike some of the contractors we've worked with, they cleanup after themselves, tidied up the area, put down straw and seeded where they trenched. Will certainly keep them in mind for future work, or if my friends need services.

NEVER USE HORN PLUMBING We chose this company to repair our water service line in October. The initial quote and consultation was done by the owner's son, Jesse. He was easy to work with and the job was done in a timely manner. Less than 30 days later my husband noticed the sink hole at the original leak had re opened and water was leaking into the yard at another location of the line (an hour before we headed out of town). Again, Jesse responded quickly and came out that night to turn our water off. He said if there was anything wrong with the work that they would do whatever it took to make it right. It wasn't until the owner of the company Scott and the foreman from our job Hugo got involved that things went bad. Instead of coming himself right away to check the work, Scott left things to his foreman who has ZERO customer service skills. He adamantly denied that anything could have been done incorrectly and that we would need to pay for a brand new job if we wanted things checked out. Both Hugo and Scott were aggressive on the phone- Scott has still not been to our property to look at the work. When I asked Scott why the three foot hole in our yard had magically re appeared he told me that "You're smart, You could put a garbage can over it". Both men said their guarantee for work was that they had been in the business for 35 plus years. We now have to find another company to check the work and make this right. We didn't want anything for free. In the unfortunate event that a second leak did arise, we would have dealt with it. As customers and not plumbers ourselves, we just wanted a thorough explanation with pictures and a willingness to back up the satisfaction guarantee. SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND DONT USE THESE GUYS!!!

They were very responsive and said they would come later that day. I said I don't want it done on the weekend so we scheduled it in the week but my problem was just to redo it, it was $472, I thought there price was out of line. They are very responsive, they did call me back on a Saturday. They put the valve in. Other people said they did good work. My issue was with the price.

I called in the morning, they had two guys out in the afternoon. They spent a considerable amount of time making sure they could fix the problem in the best way possible. Very professional. I would definitely use them again!

Tech found several parts that needed to be replaced. Gas furnace is over 17 years old, and several parts were wore out. Also fixed the issue with the humidifier. Tech had all replacement parts that were needed on his truck.

They couldn't come out right away as they were so busy, but once they did, I was extremely impressed. These guys are really nice and really professional. Not only did they do a great job, but they left absolutely no mess. And they were a few thousand dollars less expensive than the other bid I got, and that contractor couldn't do the job for another four days.

Plumber responded quickly, arriving first thing Monday morning and replaced a hot water connection on my water heater.  Quick and straight forward repair.  Plumber was on site for barely 45 minutes and they're located 13 minutes from my house, but somehow that got rounded up to 1.5 hrs.  The invoice stated $250 for labor, $8 for parts (nothing about their rate, minimum charges, etc).  If that's a reasonable practice/rate for plumbing service in the area, so be it, but next time I'm definitely trying out Horizon to compare.

Quick response, professional and knowledgeable. Plumber suggested an alternative to soldering utilizing a newer method of pressurized clamping to connect pipes.

The two copper pipes were cut off and new ball joint valves installed. The install seemed to go well except it took much longer than expected by us and then necessitated a 2nd call. We were not expecting the cost to be as high.

Not well. They cost us a good bit of money by not checking out the HVAC system completely before closing.

We contacted Horn Plumbing to hook up two sinks and install two faucets. The rough plumbing was there, PEX and drain pipes in new construction. The cabinet makers had properly cut out the sink holes, sinks and faucets were on site. All that was necessary was to drop in the sinks with caulk, install the drains, plastic traps and faucet valves and faucets. One faucet was incorrect so in the end they hooked up two drains and installed one faucet and four valves to the existing PEX lines, each of which already had a shut off valve at the main PEX board. When I made the appointment I was told that my credit card was needed to charge me in case of a no show on my part but I would receive a bill for the work done. They also charge travel time, and in total I think I was charged for six hours for the above work, and instead of receiving a bill the amount of $1005 was immediately put on my credit card without my authorization. A paid bill statement for this amount was sent the following week. Parts (the valves and plastic drain pipe) were $190, and labor $815.
I have now read from a different Angies list review that the plumbers are on commission, which I guess explains why he took so long to do so little....another plumber told us this job should take at most two hours.

I had the owner, Todd Horn come out to a rental property in need of new plumbing and upgrades in a large (1200+ sq ft) unit. Todd gave me an estimate of $10,000 for the job. Since it is a rental property I was not always on site and did give the plumbers access to the unit. Horn Plumbing is a commission based plumbing organization-be very aware of this point. His plumbers profit from using new fixtures, add ons and additional work for a cut of the sales. The plumbers did an acceptable job, I would rate it as very good but I was shocked to receive a final bill from Horn Plumbing for over $16,500. The plumber Rob removed and replaced drains, added a hookup for an ice maker for the refrigerator as just a few examples of the additional costs that added almost $7000 to the bill. I was horrified. Todd did reduce the bill to $13,500 after my protests, but I did spend $3,500 more than the original quoted price for the job. I will never use Horn Plumbing again.

Very costly new heating system and hot water system installed. Heater stopped working a mere 5 months later and they sent someone to fix it the next day. I then received a bill for $250 for "cleaning of flame sensor". When I called to protest, I was told "Well, you have to expect the heating system to need maintenance." After arguing with the woman on the phone, she huffily said she would take it up with the boss. They did drop the charges, but I was really annoyed with the experience.

My experience with Horn Plumbing and Heating Inc. Company was excellent. I had contacted another company for this work and I found Horn Plumbing and Heating Inc. Company to be ten times lesser expensive. They were prompt. I would use them again in the future.

I called them at 6 p.m. when I saw a large pool of water from my water heater, usually indicating a failed heater. They called me back within the hour and told me how to drain the heater until they could come first thing the next morning--but they offered to come that night if it got worse. I had them come the next a.m. and Ken and George were friendly, professional and had an overall nice manner. They worked quickly, mindful of the time I had to leave. Ken also cheerfully replaced 2 traps under the sinks of my vanity, which took an additional hour since he changed them over to one that could be unscrewed and easily replaced by me. They charged $100 for this, which I thought was reasonable, since I was saving another housecall charge. This was one of the best plumbing experiences I've had. They put cloths down to protect my floor where they worked and even thought to put the curtains up so they wouldn't get damaged. I would definitely use them again.
