After having many serious problems with my existing forced-air hvac system that had been installed by another vendor who was unable to solve the problems caused by the system they installed, I sought advice from multiple different vendors to install Mitsubishi hyperheat ductless system in my house. I chose the Mitsubishi system, because they are effective and efficient to very low temperatures, eliminating the need for a secondary heat source. I chose Haller, because the sales representative was the most knowledgeable of all I interviewed, and he was extremely responsive to assisting me in deciding on the best system for my needs. Additionally, Haller Enterprises is one of the "Diamond Dealers" of the Mitsubishi systems, meaning that Mitsubishi (whose trademark includes the Diamond) rates them as being especially qualified (because they are required to take regular trainings on the systems with specialists from Mitsubishi, and they meet other quality standards as a dealer). The salesman from Haller made a site visit and spent a good amount of time with me, offering multiple options to meet my needs. After that, he answered my email and phone questions quickly. Though the Mitsubishi systems are sometimes difficult to procure, due to high demand, it was less than a month wait. The installers were careful, respectful, and finished the job for a 1500 sq foot ranch home in 3 days. Their work was so careful that even on the front of the house, the required components were aesthetically installed, so they actually improved the look of the house. Since the system has been installed, I am very, very pleased with it. The heating and cooling are very even, and they are much quieter than the forced air system had been. The temperature regulation of the whole house is also much more even than the forced air system had been. I could not be happier with the product and with the installation. Bravo, Haller!

I wrote a review last year. Now, our HVAC is 3 years old, already has a broken part, we were told the system was never registered with Carrier (the brand installed in our house), Haller never came back to correct the corrective action provided upon township inspection, they never replied to our e-mail. NO communication, terrible workmanship, terrible customer service. We are definitely contacting a lawer to bring this to court this year.

It was supposed to be 0% financing for 3 year, wrong paperwork was filed and the bank send us a notice to pay before the 1st year ended or the interest was going to be over 20%. After Haller installed completely new system, they connected the drain line to our sum pump, which is not connected and not working. This filled out within a week and an alarm went off. Haller came and claimed it was not their fault and try to charge service call. They did end up guiding the drain line outside (just like our original was) and the manager found oil by the AC unit outside and said it was not done right and they will come and fix it. Another person from Haller came not too long after that, did a bunch of measurements and said all is fine. We installed the new unit in June 2018. In May 2020 we scheduled a maintenance call. They said there was oil inside the box by the blower fan (e-mailed us a video as we couldn't be nearby because of the COVID-19) and told us they need to replace the blower fan, because the oil leaked out. The part would be under warranty but the labor would be a bit over $350! This system is not even 2 year old! I called up a friend who is familiar with HVAC (unfortunately located too far from us to come and look/fix) and he said there would not be oil from blower motor as these motors stopped used oil many years ago and they are self bearing now. Haller is not taking responsibility and it has been a bad experience all around. I would not hire again and I would warn others to stay away. They were not the cheapest to install; the only reason we went with Haller was because they were in Home Depot, so we thought we would have some guarantee.

We went through a large group of installers who sold various equipment. Haller’s prices were in range of all higher rated installers. We went with them partly because they were able to replace and move my neighbor’s heat-pump. I had recommended Haller as one of my top picks. Of the other two installers one had a massive price and the other never returned a quote. We had scheduled and end of month installation. When our heat pump failed before that date, Haller was able to push up the work schedule and get the job done only a few days after calling about the failure. Haller staff was quick, responsive, thoughtful and courteous. As a plus, Haller can do all sorts of work from plumbing to electrical.

Initially sales rep was responsive and punctual. The workers came as scheduled and removed our old unit and replaced with a new unit.  They hooked up the new unit to a newly installed propane tank.
We also had the air ducts cleaned.  We question if they really did clean the ducts as they were still very dirty.
The reason for our overall disappointment with Haller is two-fold.
1.  Our sales rep told us that the unit that we purchased would qualify for a PECO rebate. That is one of the main reasons we went with Haller as we felt as if the Amana unit was good quality and the PECO rebate would help defer the costs of such an expensive purchase.  However when it came time to apply for the rebate, PECO denied the claim saying that our unit didn't qualify.  When I contacted our sales rep he didn't get back to us in a timely manner and when he finally did he said he would "look into it".  We waited weeks to hear back from him, to no avail.  When I contacted him again he said he would "look into it".  I then tried for a 2nd time to apply for the PECO rebate, and again got denied.
2.  We found a huge hole in our air duct return in the basement, we contacted our sales rep about this as well, seeing that if they did indeed clean the air ducts, the would have found this huge hole, he said he would "look into it".  Again, no response, no follow up and after multiple attempts to reach out to our sales rep, he was missing in action.
Fed-up with this, we contacted the main office and FINALLY received a response.  They were extremely apologetic and gave us a check to compensate for failed PECO rebate.  Additionally the manager came to our house personally and repaired the hole in the air duct return.
Our disappointment in Haller is solely on the poor sales representative that we had.  It is a shame that the negligence of one individual can leave a bad taste in your mouth.  Aside from him, we were satisfied with the service (questionable on the air duct cleaning).  I don't know how the sales reps of Haller are trained, but it seems to me that they promise the world to the customer just to get the deal and then once money has changed hands, they are no where to be found.  Poor business model.
If you are shopping around for HVAC, I would be wary of Haller.

Their customer services was really good. The person I was working with was very knowledgeable. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Your paying more because they are a bigger company because they advertise.

They are good, but they are expensive.  They are good, they are very good.  It's familiarity, promptness of service.  They are good at what they do.  I trust them in my home when I'm alone with them.  The work is always good.  It's done the way it needs to be done.

Tech arrived on time. Technicians take steps to make sure that outside dirt is not tracked in. He answered specific questions I had., and completed the necessary work in a very reasonable amount of time.
Note that I had previously used a local small HVAC company which was purchased by Haller Ent. They were thoughtful enough to send a tech who was an employee of the "old" company who was familiar to me and experienced with my HVAC system. I am grateful for this foresight and consideration.

Mechanic was scheduled easily and arrived on-time. Preventative maintenance work was very thorough. Refrigerant charge was costly, but will help keep our 15-year old A/C going for another summer.

Quick response to call and received written bid while there. When we made decision to use them, they scheduled our install as soon as possible since we had no ac and it was very hot. Installers were excellent. Love this company. Even though they were highest bid, I'm glad we used them. You get what you pay for. Very pleased

They were here about 10 working days to do the job.  I would recommend them for their punctuality, as far as their mechanics if one isn't quite knowledgeable about the newest boiler on the market, like my first tech, their team is big enough that they can find answers from another individual. This is why I went with a bigger company.  I had 3 other bids but I went with them because of their size, they weren't the least or most expensive.  I wanted someone who was there 7 days a week and 365 days a year for service.  I worked in this business for a long time until a few years ago.

The guy who came out was very knowledgeable about heat pumps, about the industry and he was a wonderful person to talk to.
