I signed a contract, they over billed me, I questioned, they were rude and said I was wrong, I sent them a copy of my signed contract and they begrudgingly honored it. Had problems with a section I paid extra for to have fabric laid down prevent weeds, I have a ton of weeds 2 months later. Greg told me “paper doesn’t always work”. I paid for fabric. He said it’s not his problem. I have known his family and worked w Jeff & Ray for jobs for 15 years, never a problem. Sorely disappointed and personally offended with his billing & worth ethic.

I had the worst experience with this contractor. He came recommended by a neighbor. I had been given a quote for the spring, yard, and fall clean ups. We put a large deposit down for the work and signed a contract. When the spring clean up was done, there was a section that the workers missed. They did come and fix. When the cutting started it was very sloppy and the crew missed 1/3 of the yard. I understand that you need to get used to a yard and called and gave feedback. All along we were getting quicken bills for immediate payment which were paid timely. All of a sudden i got an extra bill for cleanup. I emailed a number of times asking what it was for since i had paid for the clean up already. There was a different crew that was sent out to my house and again they were not used to it. They were fast, sloppy, and left my gate open so my dogs almost escaped. When i called again to get the team on track, Greg became very defensive-again i reiterated, i understood that the crew needed to get used to the lawn and wanted to get them on track. Lastly, i tried to get to the bottom Of the extra leanup bill and called the office. The office manager was very nice and informed me that it was a second bill. Needless to say that i was surprised and then asked if there would be any change in the clean up quote for fall and that communication is important in the client onboarding process. Within 1/2 hour the office manager called back and informed me that consalvi wouldn’t do business with us anymore. I was so upset but more upset that he was not professional to personally call me. I know i did nothing wrong and just expected a good work product. Very disappointed in the quality and lack of professionalism.

Great! They showed up on schedule, were professional, efficient and thorough. When they started, this April, lawn had not been mowed for at least 8 months. They did a great job clearing the overgrowth and reclaiming a large section of the back yard.

I have an atypical lawn in that it's a half acre of death-defying short slopes, some big exposed roots, some tight spots, and so forth, yet Greg did quite a good job maintaining it throughout the summer!  Very pleased with his professionalism and customer-centric attitude.

Would recommend him to anybody!

I was thankful to find a snow removal service for our new (unoccupied) home on short notice.  Contract appeared reasonable, however price escalates $40 for snowplowing and $20 for shoveling for each 4in increase to snowfall.  Just do the math on a +25in snowfall and this gets ridiculously expensive.  Their contract did not spell out that 2 visits will be made if snowfall is excessive.  Also, their contract does not mention materials costs (bags of salt, gas, machinery wear/tear) that sneak into the invoice price.  No issue with timeliness, but wasn't an issue for us yet since we're not fully moved in.  Very disappointed with price and cancelled my contract immediately.  Will either hire a snowblowing neighbor or purchase my own after this experience.
Response from Consalvi's Lawn & Landscaping
"All my contracts are broken down in increments of three or four inches and go up a nominal rate of $10 per inch. This is why Mr [Member Name Removed] stated my contract went up $40 per 4". So knowing we were receiving 26-30" he would have known what he was paying in advance for snow removal. Shoveling costs are also broken down so he would know the costs ahead of time. Salting is a labor rate of $25 per occurance plus materials used. I do charge bags of salt higher than what I pay, that's called overhead! I only charged the actual snow depth, I did not charge for going twice. I went twice to make it easier for my guys to plow and shovel for trucks have hard time moving 30". The drifts were also 4' and higher but I don't charge extra to move those higher drifts amounts. Nothing was charged that he didn't sign off on before the snowfall occurred. Mr [Member Name Removed] knew all charges prior. As promised we had all clients out to work by 6am Monday morning. My crews handled this storm in a professional manner and completed all work as contracted. I did take his contract on on a short schedule and sent him my certificate of insurance in time to remove the snow. Which is an unusual request for a residence. I've been in business for twenty years and do not make a habit of trying to rip people off. What's clients don't understand I have four crews running, I have insurance, I have labor costs, wear and tear on trucks, gas, oil etc. all those costs are built into my pricing and do not have to be displayed on the contract. It's a known fact businesses have overhead. Im not a solo person doing business without insurance. Im a LLC. I work to provide excellent service for my clients and for satisfaction for myself. I take pride in what I do. I apologize that I cannot make everyone happy, but I can provide over 50 clients who can provide a great recommendation."

I initially contacted Greg in May after I moved to a new home and needed someone to mow my lawn.  Since then, his team has come out once a week to mow and edge - my lawn always looks tidy, and they are respectful of my property (e.g., putting lawn furniture back where it belongs and making sure that the gates are secure when they leave).  They also removed from the front of my property an approximately 10' juniper tree that was near death - they removed the stump and tidied up the area where the tree was removed.  I am really happy with the work that they've done on my property and would recommend them to anyone looking for a lawn service.

He has a bag and did a nice job. We will probably have him come out again in the summer because the regular guy that cuts our yard doesn't have a bagger. I would recommend his service.

I've been using Consalvi's Lawn and Landscaping for several years now. I contracted them a few years ago to have them mow my father's lawn and they have done such a great job I continue to use them year after year. My father has also hired them to do other jobs around his house, such as mulching and leaf removal. In the winter, they even provide snow removal service. The owner Greg is very nice and will gladly help with any need you have.

I used them to cut and tend to my dad's lawn and they are very punctual, very fair pricing and they did excellent work. I'm very happy with the quality of work. They came last week. I have a contract with them, they would come every other week.
