I have an atypical lawn in that it's a half acre of death-defying short slopes, some big exposed roots, some tight spots, and so forth, yet Greg did quite a good job maintaining it throughout the summer! Very pleased with his professionalism and customer-centric attitude.
Would recommend him to anybody!
"All my contracts are broken down in increments of three or four inches and go up a nominal rate of $10 per inch. This is why Mr [Member Name Removed] stated my contract went up $40 per 4". So knowing we were receiving 26-30" he would have known what he was paying in advance for snow removal. Shoveling costs are also broken down so he would know the costs ahead of time. Salting is a labor rate of $25 per occurance plus materials used. I do charge bags of salt higher than what I pay, that's called overhead! I only charged the actual snow depth, I did not charge for going twice. I went twice to make it easier for my guys to plow and shovel for trucks have hard time moving 30". The drifts were also 4' and higher but I don't charge extra to move those higher drifts amounts. Nothing was charged that he didn't sign off on before the snowfall occurred. Mr [Member Name Removed] knew all charges prior. As promised we had all clients out to work by 6am Monday morning. My crews handled this storm in a professional manner and completed all work as contracted. I did take his contract on on a short schedule and sent him my certificate of insurance in time to remove the snow. Which is an unusual request for a residence. I've been in business for twenty years and do not make a habit of trying to rip people off. What's clients don't understand I have four crews running, I have insurance, I have labor costs, wear and tear on trucks, gas, oil etc. all those costs are built into my pricing and do not have to be displayed on the contract. It's a known fact businesses have overhead. Im not a solo person doing business without insurance. Im a LLC. I work to provide excellent service for my clients and for satisfaction for myself. I take pride in what I do. I apologize that I cannot make everyone happy, but I can provide over 50 clients who can provide a great recommendation."
