Brian was great from the first phone convo to the final email. We were time challenged and he was able work with us on a day and time that fit our time frame with fairly short notice. His inspection was extremely detailed. He took care and combed through the home all while we were asking questions and talking to him about possible solutions to some known issues. He was very patient and took the time to explain how things worked. He would stop at any time and answer our questions. He was great. He showed up on time, we were running a little behind, and when we arrived he was ready to start! His report was professional and we got it that night. It was 29 pages of very valuable info. After we agreed to move on with the purchase he did the radon for us too.
Description of Work: Inspection on a house we were under contract to buy.

Brian Brucker was punctual, professional, and very thorough. The report that he provided was well written, included photographs of all findings, and was provided very quickly following completion of the inspection. We have used Brian's services twice and we were very pleased each time. He thoroughly reviews each aspect of every area of the house, and unlike some inspectors, he is also a contractor so he really knows his stuff (and how to build/repair it right). He is also very willing to take time to explain his findings in easy-to-understand terms (for the layman). Would highly recommend.

Brain was reasonably priced and knowledgeable of high and bathroom products such as shower waterproofing and heated floors- He was creative with design challenges. He was easy to talk to when we had questions during construction. He maintained a clean work site. Our Jangura counter top guy complemented his tile work. Brain was on time and worked from start to finish without interruption.

This review is long overdue, but I wanted be sure it did proper service to Brian and his months of hard work. First off, so you know how to evaluate me as a reviewer, a little about us. We moved into a Cape Cod in 2009. It had been on the market for a good while, and needed a LOT of work. Having that work done has been a roller coaster, and we have seen a whole parade of different trades people come through, and man?it has been an experience. Even with due diligence and using Angie?s List, we have experienced the worst the business had to offer, the mediocre, and the plain old no show. We have had folks we thought did a good job only to have another contractor come by and point out not only had we been price gouged, but the work had been done poorly/unsafely. Ugh! We were coming off an experience where the most recent contractor bid for the job, puttered around 6 months, then finally told us the week we were to begin that we would need more than triple his initial budget. In desperation we reached out and found Brian. His price was not the cheapest. But if I have learned anything, it is that a cheap quote means nothing in this business, and likely guarantees disaster. What we got with him was a contractor who was also a home inspector and this mindset that work would be done well and to code, with no half measures. He found poorly finished work from previous contractors, came up with solutions to fit our budget, and made them right. Let me interject something here about work ethic. I have never seen anyone work harder. I had a full crew of guys doing our remodel upstairs at one point- and they took forever. Brian came by with help from one other worker (admittedly another contractor superman in his own right), and did the demo with the speed of a tornado. Wow. No messing around! This project ran afoul of EVERY possible hurdle. He had never seen anything like it. But he stuck with us despite a project that went into overtime and then some, and got it done. He did most of the project alone as his partner moved out of state- but it didn't faze him. He even hung ceiling drywall alone! If Brian is guilty of anything, I would say that he was very particular about whom he had working with him- he is exacting- so work done at the speed of one man is a bit slower as can be expected. We lived in our home during the remodel, but I never felt uncomfortable having him around myself or my son while my husband was at work. I have told him that when we do the basement and the outside patio we are hiring him again. We don?t want anyone else working on our home. So, folks, I tell you- this is the guy you want working for you. Either building or doing home inspections- he really knows his stuff. He is worth every penny, and you can be sure it will be done right. We have run the gauntlet, and we have finally found the sort of craftsman we envisioned when we began this process. I have no reservations about recommending him to you, and I feel good to be doing so.

HomeI Every job he has done for me has always been top notch work. He really cares about what ever he is doing, and makes sure everything is done with the highest professionalism. Give him a call you will not be disappointed.
Description of Work: I have known Brain for 15 years. He is very accomplished in all phases off remodeling and construction, He can do masonry, electrical, plumbing etc. He has helped me with a number of projects such as a large 5000 sq foot home addition, building of a new 4 + car garage and recently a 1200 sq foot basement remodel. I am a partially retired contractor myself and very particular about who works for me and the quality of their workmanship. Brain is excellent and I would recommendhim for any project you have. Very prompt and reasonably priced, work done well and always at cost and on time. Can not say enough about the quality of his work!!!
