I drop the car when they were not yet open and picked it up when it wasn't open. I talked to them on the phone about the time, because I usually work at 6:30 in the morning and I usually 10-12 hours a day so I didn't get off in time when he was open, but in the end it worked out fine. I also like that they are just a small garage you got to know them and they easily know me and they know what kind of issues I already have, and that's what I'm looking for.

Very honest repair shop with great attention to detail and I was really surprised by the price, it was barely more than the cost of the part. I will definitely go back to Roy's Auto service in the future and I recommend their shop to anyone looking for an honest and affordable mechanic in the Erie area.

I have used Roys Auto Service for quite a few years now and would not go anywhere else. It's all the way on the other side of town from where I live and I probably pass by 20 other shops on the way to Roy's, but it is well worth it for me. I've lived in Erie all my life and have tried many different auto shops, but after Roy's my search is over. The owner George and his employee Jessie are honest and professional. They do not repair or try to sell you anything you don't need. One time my radiator starting leaking and even though they were booked for the next week, George got me in the next morning and was calling all over town to get the best price on replacement radiators. He had it fixed that very day.

The shop is clean and they take pride in their work. I still get my oil changes and tires at Walmart because it's closer to me, but anything else that my car needs, I head to Roy's. My brother and my mom both use them as well and none of us have ever had a bad experience. I hope they stay in business forever because I don't know where I'll take my car if they ever close.

I dropped off my car the night before. The next morning they called me and reported they received the keys to my car. About 2 hours later they called me to let me know what was causing the squeaking noise and vibration in my car. They told me my back rotors were causing the squeaking noise, front brake pads were pretty much down to the metal, and tires were causing the vibration. They did not have tires, so they just fixed my brake problems and I also asked for an oil change. When I went to pick up my car they gave me suggestions of different tire stores I could go to and also recommended tires. Overall had a great first experience. I will definitely go back when I have car problems. FYI, you will have to call to set up an appointment because they have a lot of people who go there.
