Called after hours, we were charged $400 for the first hour and told it would be $250 an hour if they couldn’t finish it in the first hour. 2 guys came ! Why I have no idea one person could have done the job! They told us it would cost $750 to remove the toilet to snake it ! Nope !!! They said they moved something and today it’s not working again ! They don’t want to help the consumers they want to price gouge and make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I do not recommend!!!

Asked for 3 drains moved and hot/cold moved, drain and cold water moved and drain and hot cold moved. Had a shower/ tub combo going in and needed shutoffs and and drain moved to back wall Vanity lines move from 1 wall directly across to ther wall and toilet drain and water in between studs. Nothing was done except playing with tub/shower. I showed him the new toilet and carrier system. So please, you were informed. We demoed the old shower. They used the shower lines and moved them to back wall, on the 3rd day. Those water lines were about 10 inches from the where the new vanity lines should have gone. They used the old hole in the floor and put THE FLEXIBLE DRAIN LINE in the old shower drain with a hose clamp. They assembled for almost the entire 3 days the toy they wanted to play with. I told him the first day at 1 point, my daughter and I would assemble it. So for $6000 they moved 2 lines and fed a flexible drain thru a hole I wanted to patch to a drain that was there already with a hose clamp. Run the other way especially if you are female. Evidently they don't hear women even when the job is with a female who also was paying them. Still fuming

they were polite and accomodating on the phone and set up an appointment for that afternoon and arrived on time. the two sent seemed very professional and worked on it also for about 1 1/2 hours. they cleaned up and told me they were unable to get the clog, that the problem was more serious and they would have to dig up a new line to the street. they estimated that it would be about S4,000 to do so, but that i could apply half of today's bill toward that the bill for the 1 1/2 hours which left me no further ahead and with the same problem, no results was $449, which i paid him. i asked for a paper receipt and was told that he could not give me one. he only had an electronic tablet and would have to send it to me email. i gave him my email address. he said they would also send me an estimate for the work that he said would need to be done. that was over a week ago and i have yet to receive either a receipt that i requested or the estimate of the work they said i needed. i called another plumber / drain cleaner yesterday ( erie sewer and drain ) and set up an appointment for today. they also worked for 1 1//2 hours and when done, said they the drain was open again, problem solved their bill? $195 for the same number of personell ( 2 ), the same amount of time and the same exact service. the difference? reeves was $250 more, didn't solve my problem, didn't provide any documentation and didn't provide the quote as promised. would i ever recommend them to anyone? absolutely not, never never never. scam artists...

They put a cheap part in and I wasn't too happy about that. I thought for the work that they did even though I did ask them to come back I did think they were expensive, not outrageous. Fortunately it was warm enough because I didn't have any heat. They did do a very good job, they fixed it well. I just have very high standards, in the future I would try to find someone else first.

He got here on time. I told him what was happening. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. His charges were Fair. I am having him come out and do maintenance on my air conditioning now because he is really trustworthy. Excellent service.

First trip did not catch that there was still an issue, everything seemed cleared up. Had to call back for camera in order to figure out the intermittent problem.

I had used Reeves before and felt they gave me a fair price and were punctual. Therefore when I purchased a new home I nievely set up a job to install a gas line without getting an estimate. When the young man showed up on the day of service he informed me that the wrong work order was Placed and he didn't have any of the right equipment/materials. I asked for an estimate at that time and he gave me one that seemed high, but I had not idea what the job entailed, so I agreed. I was then told he would have to go back to headquarters to get the right stuff for the job. While he was working my dad came and was appalled by the price. The gentleman was at work for no more than 2.5 hours and when he was finished I had to pay him. We immediately asked for an itemized reciept, that he promised would come by email within 24 hours. 10-14 days and at least 7 phone calls later we were given a multitude of reasons for the price. Finally, after 10 days (and being told at least 3 times that the reciept was sent by email) I drove to the office and picked it up myself. At first we were told that the cost was in materials. When we investigated the cost of the materials, the mark up was EXCESSIVE and we pointed this out. When I was finally able to get my hands on the itemized receipt, the materials miraculously came down in price to a reasonable level, we were charged a reasonable hourly rate, but somehow a 2.5 hour job was billed for 6.5 hours of labor. After being told that we would not be charged for their mix up with the work order, we were now told that the travel time was included in the cost. They were completely unwilling to work with us, made up multiple excuses for the cost and eventually offered to come out and remove all the work that was done. Eventually, we just gave up fighting with them and will never use them again. I am not sure If I was dealing with the owner or his son, but whomever it was, was rude and shifty. I have never written a review like this before and I wish I didn't have to write this one. If using Reeves my advice to you is get an estimate first and make sure they have the right job order when they get there!

Reeves Plumbing had availability on short notice, (scheduled less than a week), requesting work to be done. The initial request was to install a new water pump supplied by us. Two days before the scheduled job, we recognized that the hot water heater needed to be replaced and the new unit would also be supplied by us. It wasn’t an issue to add the request to our work order. The technician quickly assessed the scope of the work and recognized additional assistance would be required to complete the job in a timely manner. This change in work scope was our fault as there was a slight change in what we needed accomplished. Within an hour an additional plumbing technician had arrived. As the job progressed the company owner had stopped in to check the job progress and ensure company standards were being met. As the system was restored, Reeves Plumbing identified problems with our well’s foot valve, explained the problem, and demonstrated the impact it had on our water system. It was the end of the day when this issue was discovered. Our home is old and the wellhead was buried requiring an excavator to uncover it. Early the next morning, Reeves Plumbing was back onsite with heavy equipment and worked through heavy downpours to complete the job. Everyone who worked on my water system was easy to talk with, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure all of our plumbing needs was met. Cost of all work, (scheduled and unforeseen repairs), was fair and spot on with the industry pricing. I highly recommend using Reeves Plumbing & Heating!

I did not get a second quote, but I later realized that $2500 was a rapacious amount for replacing the shower stall.  However, It gets worse from there.  They did not even install a shower door!  For that price, I assumed that not only would the shower naturally have a new door, but that the drywall around the top of the shower would be finished.  Neither was done.  In addition, they left the old shower door my tenant's basement, instead or removing it.
After my tenants informed me that the shower had no door, I called Reeves, and they grudgingly told me that a new shower door would be $500; when I insisted that the price should have included a door they agreed to put a door only.
Then I started receiving a bill for $149 for installation of the shower door.
Now, eighteen months later, the shower door that they put on is falling apart at the bottom, and it scrapes every time the shower door is opened and closed.
Additionally, when the man came and picked up the old shower door, he carelessly tossed it into the back of his truck, and the glass broke all over the truck.  I was only grateful that it did not break on the street in front of my property.
I WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND REEVES PLUMBING.
Response from Reeves Plumbing & Heating

"To our defense, Reeves gave this customer a fair price. The quote that we agreed on did not have a shower door install on it or any mention of the shower door. This customer failed to mention that we gave her the door and install for FREE!!!. We did the job in 2014 and now she wants us to replace it because her tenant broke the door. Reeves has the best name in town and this customer is disgruntled. She just wants more free work. TO ANY OTHER CONTRACTORS THAT READ THIS, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PERSON. She also wont pay her bill for a completely irrelevant issue. This customer signed the quote and we held up our end of the deal and then some! Reeves will continue to provide the best service in town!"

Reeves Plumbers arrived promptly, just as scheduled.  They were professional, friendly, and even provided some recommendations for additional work we'd like completed in the future.  We own a number of rescued dogs, including one somewhat intimidating mastiff, but they were completely comfortable around all of them, and even played with them a little when they first arrived.  Their workmanship was superb, and they not only ran lines for a sink in our garage, but they ran lines to attach hoses to, as well.  When my son, who works with contractors, mentioned the work they had done, the contractors were impressed with the price and agreed that the price was more than fair for the work done.  I would definitely recommend Reeves Plumbers to friends and family should the need for a plumber ever arise.

They were able to find difficult to locate original parts.  Further found a coolant leak.  All units were repaired and the AC is working correctly.
