In addition to the above basic considerations we appreciated the certainty of the transaction. Montagna Concrete is an obviously well capitalized company that doesn't ask Peter for a down payment to finish Paul's driveway.
Also, in the course of the job a mule carrying concrete up the driveway broke off a corner of an uneven, unsupported slab that we hadn't intended to replace. Dennis Montagna brought it to our attention and, though it clearly was not their fault, cut out the damaged section and replaced it.
We rate them the most professional people ever to have done any home improvement work for us.
