Mark Emhoff Appliance Repair

I called Mark because my GE refrigerator and freezer temperatures were erratic. The freezer temperature fluctuated between -8 and +10. Also, I needed a new Instant Hot installed. The appointment was made for Thursday afternoon at 3 pm. He called at 2:30 and I called him back within 2 minutes. He did not answer his call. I left a message. He did not return my call; nor did he ever show up on Thursday. On Friday I called him again. He said he went to another call because I didn't answer my cell phone. I told him I called him back immediately. He had no answer. He then said he had problems with his truck and needed to take care of them, but would be out around 9 AM on Saturday morning. I said that would be fine. He did not come at 9 on Saturday, nor did he call. I finally called him again around 11 and he made more excuses (he wanted to get some work done around his house before it stormed). He finally arrived around 12:30. After I removed everything from my freezer, he took off the back panel and then said 'oh, this is a GE and there isn't anything I can do. You'll have to call GE for service'. He put the panel back on and then said he didn't have time to take care of the instant hot. He made another appointment for Tuesday between 2 and 4 PM and said we could settle up when he came back. It is now almost 5 PM and he has not shown up, nor has he called. I have used him in the past, but will no longer use his services, nor will I recommend him to my friends.
