LOWE'S

The day of delivery came and went and my floors were not here. I called to check the next day and I was told that I shouldn't have been told that was the date of delivery. He said that delivery takes "7-10 days." I told him I was given that specific date and it was printed on my receipt as the delivery date. I said I had a contractor coming in three days to install the floors and need to know when they will arrive. He said he couldn't tell me because they could take "14 days" to arrive, even though he just told me 7-10... I called the next day and talked to someone who was able to look up the shipping and it turns out it was the day before they were to be delivered. I asked if they would arrive in time for my contractor to install and he said he couldn't say, it depends on if the truck drives straight through or makes stops along the way. My flooring finally arrived three days AFTER I lost my install date with my contractor. When I went to pick it up there were four items missing from my order. I showed the employee my receipt and counted the items on the pallet. He said he wasn't aware of the missing items because they weren't on his order form. I had to tell him I wasn't leaving without them before he even tried to see where they were or why they weren't with my order. He went to ask someone, who had to call a third person to track down the missing items. Now I have everything I need to install new floors, but no one to put them in!

The first person that did it cracked one of my kitchen tiles, this was back in September, and I'm still dealing with it. He also had a lot of excused to not show up and anything. So they brought a second contractor that came out, finished the job and did good work. Both of these contractors were hired through Lowe's. Lowe's wasn't bad, it wasn't there fault.
