He was very prompt and through.  I will hire them for my repairs.  He spent over an hour giving me the best options and I was very happy with the estimates.

We contracted with Deniziak to reside our home and remove an existing deck, replacing it and erected a Florida Room on the new deck in May of 2011.  A deposit was made and the first third of the total amount of the cost paid in August.  No work began until November at which time the siding portion of the job was done. In addition the existing deck was removed and the holes dug for the support posts which were also installed.  A few days prior to Christmas all work stopped, however I thought this was just due to the holidays  After the first of the year when no additional work had been done nor contact with me  I called Marty Deniziak several times, never receiving a call back until I told him vial voice mail that I would be contacting my attorney if he did not call
me.  I received a call from him within the hour at which time he told me some rambling story about someone filing some type of grievance against him which had frozen both his business and personal funds.  He further stated he had a court hearing coming up at the end of January and assured me that everything would be find and work would once again be done. I began calling him again at the beginning of February when nothing further had been done and informed him I had been in contact with my attorney and I would also be in touch with the Attorney General?s Office of Consumer Protection, Better Business Bureau and Angie?s List.
I received a call from him the next day telling me that things had taken a little longer than he anticipated, but by the end of February it would be all cleared up.  Work finally resumed in March, with Steve and David performing all the work between just the 2 of them.
Needless to say Deniziak was right there to collect the 2nd third of the money.  Finally the work was done in June with only the installation of the French Doors remaining.  Like a fool I paid the last third of the money to Deniziak, thinking that the problems were now behind us, but was I wrong.  From June until the end of October nothing was done on the French Doors.  In the interim I discovered Deniziak had moved from their showroom on West 8th Street to a basement office in the Colony Plaza and the showroom was up for sale.  From June until October I made at least 4 trips to his ?office? only to find he was never there and
despite the receptionist calling him in my presence and telling him I was upset he never returned my calls.  Finally on my last visit, I did something that I always try to avoid and that is I went off on the receptionist.  Once again I told her to tell Deniziak that I would once again be calling my attorney and I expected the French Doors to be installed before the end of the month.  I am happy to say the doors were installed and I am happy with the quality of the work his employees performed, but due to the fact that it took almost a year to complete a job that should have only taken 4 months at the most, coupled with the fact of contacting Deniziak was a nightmare I would never hire him again.  In all fairness all the work done be Steve and David was top notch.
As a side note, and I have no first had knowledge on thisbut don?t doubt it, I have been told Deniziak has declared bankruptcy.

Very unprofessional behavior by the owner.  Took our money and only contacted us once (a message on the answering machine while we were at work during the day) over a period of 6 weeks.  Beautiful weather allowed the company to start the garage, but failed to even call us with a starting time/day.  Complained to the salesman and sent a certified letter to the company and the business owners home, stating that he had 10 working days to send us our down payment back or we would send complaints to the Attorney General's office, Angies list and the Better Business Bureau.  Still no contact from the business, so here we are!

Siding Service, Roofing
$8,000
So far the siding is fine, but the roofs are not.  The rubber roofs were installed in June 2011.   This summer, 2012, we noticed that the so-called flat roofs had very pronounced ripples on hot days where the top material had pulled away from the base.  It took four phone calls to even get Deniziak  to come look at the roofs.  After checking the trouble areas, he said he would talk with the roofer and get back to us in a week.  That did not happen.  We are still waiting.  It has been over a month now with no response.  We have called a couple times a week and get the same message from the woman who answers their calls - oh, I thought Steve called you, he was supposed to call you yesterday, let me call him right now so he can get back to you.  Nothing.
Given our experience, I would not recommend this contractor for any work whatsoever.  He got our money last year, and any problems we are having this year apparently do not concern him.  His lack of response is insulting and very unprofessional.

We signed with a salesman from Deniziak to properly caulk all our windows and wrap all window frames and door frames in aluminum to match.  They solicited us by phone and we agreed to meet with the salesman.   He came promptly to the appointment and we made a contract for the work.  That was in September 2011.  He told us they were working about 6 weeks out so we figured sometime in November the work would be done. He took out credit card number and said we would be charged half the cost now and half when work was completed.  We never heard another word from that salesman again!! Finally, after Christmas, my husband started calling Mr. Deniziak and leaving messages.  In about a week he called  back and said that the work would be done by the end of the week.  At that point, he charged our credit card for half the cost of the job.  No one ever showed up to do the work or called. My husband started calling AGAIN and again and again.  When he finally talked to Deniziak, he told him he no longer wanted the work done he just wanted a check for the credit card charges. After speaking to Deniziak several times and being told the check was in the mail, my husband told him he was  coming to the office to get the check in person.  We received the check within 2 days!  That was about February 27, 2012.  Five months of aggravation for nothing!  Waste of time.

Gutter Repair and Replacement
$2,300
Phone solicitation by Deniziak in November. Assured by them they do gutter replacement--- they do NOT. Ben showed up on 11/23/2010 and wrote up a very sloppy confused contract. Gutters Unlimited (Fairview) began the installation sometime in the latter part of March and put up four portions of new gutter. Had to call (Deniziak) before they actually started the work because they had the wrong materials. They left without completing the fourth section. Had to Call Deniziak a 2nd time. Gutters Unlimited completed the final 5th section. Gutters Unlimited came back April 5th to put covers on, but stayed only 15 minutes to cover only the old remaining gutters, not the new, saying that's what they had been told. Had to call Deniziak a 3rd time. As of April 9th no further activity. Brand new 6" gutters remain unprotected. Fortunately it's spring.  It's now May 5th and still no further contact.  At least they haven't had the nerve to bill me the remaining two thirds of the "contract".  Will wait until June and have another company complete the covers.  May 6th Ben actually did have the nerve to call me in mid morning to say he has an invoice for the completed job and wants payment.  I thanked him for calling but reminded him that the new gutters are still not covered.  He said he will call Dan the foreman, it's now May 9th and no further activity.  May 19, 2011, silence from Deniziak, meanwhile brand new gutters are filling with oak debris.  ******  Case closed:   Ben showed up unexpectedly July 20th with Gutters-R-Us who returned July 22nd and installed the gutter covers.  We drove to Deniziak's office and paid off the remaining balance on Monday the 25th. Never again Deniziak.

The experience was very good. They measured the windows twice. The only thing was that the day they said they were coming, they didn't show up until 4 pm and were gone by 4:30 pm. The next day they pulled somebody off a job to come and finish. One window was too big but that wasn't their fault. The order was written right; it was the delivery person from the other company that was wrong. They replaced it and everything went fine. We would probably use them again.
