The sales person had to work very hard for us to get accepted financially, he went above and beyond to help us out! Someone else would have probably said "I'm sorry, I have to let you go."

They were wonderful! I contacted them about getting a tire replaced on my vehicle. They didn't have my size in stock but went and picked one up for me. They contacted me when they received it so that I wasn't waiting all day at the shop. I was in and out in no time and everything was as promised. It was perfect

Price, installation good and on time.

I took my diesel F250 truck in for routine maintenance and a problem with my supercharger. One of the service managers pressured me into purchasing a fuel injection cleaning service and some other related optional maintenance services. They supposedly had a diesel mechanic repair the supercharger issue.
Long story short...my truck broke down twice on the way to Texas...once in Tennessee and again in El Paso Texas. The Ford dealer/service in El Paso, was very large and serviced dozens of Ford diesels every week. They correctly made the repairs and advised me that the services that were performed at the Ford Dealer in Erie were the primary reason for the problems I experienced. That was two years ago and after two trips to California I have not had a problem with my diesel truck.

I then took my truck to Cottman Transmission in Erie, PA. They ran the diagnostics and determined that the transmission needed to be rebuilt -- nothing else. They did the necessary work for $2,900 and the truck runs perfectly! It was completed within two days, and I have been exceptionally please with their service. I went back to Champion Ford and told one of their managers about how dissatisfied I was with their estimate and how I could have thrown away $3,800 if I had let them do the service. He stood by his mechanic, however, he could not explain why the truck runs perfectly now and it is not showing any codes when the diagnostics were completed after Cottman's work. I asked him to put my truck back on Champion's diagnostics to check the codes, but he wasn't interested in doing so. I did ask for and received a refund of the $104.09 that I paid for when they did the diagnostics on the truck. I also asked him to cut me a check for the $3,800 which I could have spent if I had approved the work that they stated was necessary on the truck -- that way he would know what it felt like to spent money and get nothing in return. I wanted him to understand what it felt like to to treated the way I was treated. He didn't think it was a good idea -- funny how that works. Only give Champion Ford in Erie, PA, your business if you wish to throw money out the window.
