Excellent! Michael, from Balcones Painting was very particular about his painting. He was efficient, thorough, very knowledgeable, cleaned up daily and returned furniture to its proper place. I would definitely rehire Michael again! In fact, I did. He will be pressure washing front porch and back deck … also restaining them when the weather warms up.

We had a great experience working with Michael at Balcones Painting. He had great communication and did excellent work. We definitely plan to hire him again for our next project.

Balcones Painting painted my garage in 2017 and my house in 2018. They also did some wood replacement, and some electrical work as well. Michael did a great job with everything. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to answer any questions you might have. If you want high quality work at a reasonable price, then I would definitely give Balcones Painting a call.

Balcones did a great job. Communication was excellent. Michael came and gave us an estimate and told us when he could do the job. Called when he was available and set up a time to complete. Was very punctual and finished quickly and neatly. Pricing was extremely reasonable. I would definitely hire Balcones again.

It went very well. Michael suggested that it wasn't necessary to paint most of the rooms if we were going to keep them the same color. The estimate contained the individual price for each room. It also included exactly what he would do, from moving bookcases to repairing wall damage. Michael and another painter finished painting two rooms in a very timely manner. Not only did they put everything back in place, but they also vacuumed my rug. They were courteous and professional throughout the entire process.

Excellent job. Perfect, in fact. Robert Balderas took great care with details, such as planning for proper drying where necessary. He made good suggestions for a couple of problem areas. He was accommodating in scheduling times of work (he worked parts of three days, necessary because of drying). In addition, he was pleasant and interesting.

Michael did a great job.  He responded to my inquiries promptly.  Came for an estimate and began the job when promised.
  Did a few touch ups that were needed but not included in the estimate. Went out of his way to see that every thing was done to my satisfaction.  I would absolutely use him again for any other jobs I might have.  Personable, hard working and all at a very fair price. Give him a go, you wont be sorry.

Michael did a great job. The quality was great. He was super nice. We added a bunch more things along the way and he was real easy going.

The most recent job Michael completed for us is the repainting of the exterior of our home which is all hardi-plank. The house looks wonderful! Michael and his crew finished painting the entire exterior of our house one color and the trim another. Michael has done several jobs for us over the past 11 years and I wouldn't think twice about hiring him for our next painting project.
Michael responds quickly to calls. He and his crew are always right on time and he has always been on schedule. If all contractors ran their businesses as Michael does, finding good help would be a breeze!

We had Michael do some painting for us several years ago and were pleased with his work, so when we needed more done, we knew we wanted him to bid on our project.
Michael came to look at our project and gave me an estimate within 24 hours. He and a helper painted my daughter's bedroom. The originally color was very bold so he first had to prime the walls. Two coats of paint later (another bold color, of course!) and her room was beautiful. She had three walls painted one color and the fourth wall a different color.
Michael is meticulous. He reviewed his helper'swork and made sure that everything was perfect. They were on time to
start and finish the project. There were no surprises. We'll definitely call Michael the next time we need a painter.

This is the second time I've hired Balcones Painting. The first time was about 5 years ago, to do the exterior of my house. When it came time to do th interior, I was pleased that Michael still owned the company. He came to do the estimate promptly and gave the estimate during the meeting. I didn't compare prices to other painters since he had already done my house once and I was pleased with the quality of the work. Michael is a hands-on owner and painter. He will always be on site during the painting as he is the painter and will typically hire an assistant to help him during the job (he doesn't just leave and let the helper do the rest). They work quietly and it is obvious that they have worked many years together. They carefully move items out of the way, paint around it and them move them back to their original location.
If and when I need my exterior re-painted in a few years, I would look again to Balcones.

We selected Balcones Painting for exterior prep and painting of a large 2-story residence after interviewing 4 prospective contractors. Michael was clearly the most knowlegeable and professional of these, and also provided the most detail about how the work would be done. Not only did he and his crew do the contracted work exactly as promised, but he also exceeded my expectations by correcting a number of maintenance issues that were discovered in the course of the job, specifically removing wasp nests and gutter debris as well as correcting a number of problems with exterior co-ax cables. In addition, sections of the house with the highest sun exposure were painted with an additional coat beyond what was contracted. Michael and his crew also took care to protect all non-painted surfaces, and always cleaned up thoroughly after each day's work.

I can honestly say that our house looks better now than at any time during the 22 years that we've owned it. Kudos to Michael and Balcones Painting for doing such a great job.
