"Thanks, [Member Name Removed]."
"We appreciate the work. You were both a pleasure to work with."
Since Brent had already completed a huge tree removal project in July, followed by concrete removal, dirt replacement and leveling and grading of the area along with dirt replacement and grass planting, plus a repair to a damaged basement wall and all the surrounding wood and interior sealing of that wall. We were absolutely thrilled by all the results, we trust Brent and his crew, who are terrific to work with, so we asked him to finish our botched shed project. I really didn't think he would help us out since he did not bid on it to begin with, but he not only completed the project but tore apart unsafe parts, re-enforced poorly done work, and brought the project up to code as much as was possible. The structure was actually previously unsafe and could have destroyed our belongings and or we could have been seriously injured in this structure. He fixed it, made it safe and then documented everything "on paper" and with pictures in the hope we could recoup at least part of the completion cost. Who does this? Only someone with the highest standards and a good heart. All the guys who worked in the middle of a snow storm and over the holidays, We are eternally grateful to you all. Best Christmas gift "EVER".
We have thousands of dollars in future projects to be done. In the next phase of our home fix we are having a full gut of 2 back to back bathrooms that will hopefully be done late this year and I have already told Brent they were his jobs. This will be followed by the Kitchen, dining room and living room and floors throughout the entire house. In the next 5 years we will need a new roof and concrete driveway laid, plus a complete electrical upgrade. We will use Brent Davis Enterprises for all of this.
I have already given his name to many people as I am asked on a regular basis who did the work on our house and shed?
Brent is one in a million. I would tell anyone, with all the horrible contractors in our area, and believe me there are a lot, he is the best of the best. I don't now what other people are saying in their reviews, I did not find any of their negative comments to be my personal experience. I will add that Brent likes a 15% cushion on large projects, but I have found this practice really avoids the back end problem of running over budget when unplanned situations arise, and gutting an older home always has it's surprises. The smaller projects came in on budget, no surprises. Also 2015 was a terrible year for outside home projects that started 4 to 6 weeks late due to the unrelenting rain. The fact that Brent was able to accommodate the projects he promised to do with all the bad weather says a lot about his integrity. I do however have a suggestion, with the size of his growing business, perhaps a it's time to get a secretary. He works to hard. Thanks again for everything. Hope to see you this fall.

This was an easier job for a contractor and Brent showed how easy it was. Out goal was to replace the ORIGINAL cellar stairs with new stair to support 300lbs of weight. It was pretty simple and Brent finished the job in 1/2 day. We use the cellar to store canned goods and supplies. I'm about 250 lbs and carrying heavy items was a concern. The new stairs can easily support my weight and additional pounds easily.
the outside of the house was in need since the last home owners neglected the home. Brent replace the damaged wood and covered the wood with a metal paneling to protect the interior. Looks great.
A+++ contractor: Honest, professional and pleasant.
We hired B. Davis Enterprises to complete a Breezeway and restore the cellar. I had big plans for the cellar, but Mr. Davis crushed my dreams in that. However, that was a good thing. He could of done a few things and took away a few thousand dollars, but Brent gave me an honest evaluation that I would be throwing my money away if I touched the cellar. Second, he could not in conscience do that job because it would have been a waste of money. So we focused on the breezeway. The final product came out beautiful and made a great small addition to our 19th century house. He meticulously matched the paneling to the house and it looks great. Again totally honest and WILL NOT BUILD ANYTHING THAT VILATES CODE. Yes, building to code may be a little more, but that may be the price to be honest.
Brent also did a few small jobs at no cost to improve the beatification. A great experience and we plan to use B. Davis Enterprises for our future upgrades.
I first considered Brent because he is a former Veteran, like myself, has multiple top rated reviews, and has a solid mission statement of work. Knowing the level of commitment, duty, and integrity that are found in our Military, I knew he would be the right man for the job.
My intuition was correct, and I quickly learned after my first meeting with Brent that he was going to work with me to complete my project in a professional, timely, and cost effective manner.
During the excavation, Brent not only had his workers on site, but he also actively participated alongside them during several days of work. This display of leadership is rarely seen from a business owner, but as a former leader and Officer in the United States Military, he continues to display these qualities in his professional career. It is something I truly respect.
Throughout the entire week long project, Brent was courteous, respectful, and mindful to suggest helpful ideas to save cost and time, but ultimately not affect the level of quality when complete. His workers were also very diligent, arrived early, and professional.
I will absolutely hire Brent again, and I will suggest him to anyone needing excavation, general construction, tree removal, or remodeling work done at their current residence. There are few companies that will provide the level of quality and professionalism at a competitive price as Brent does.
Do yourself a favor and call him up for an estimate on your project. I guarantee you will see the advantage that a Veteran owned and operated company has over the competition.
I contacted B. Davis Enterprises to renovate an outbuilding on my property. The second floor of the building was structurally sound but the first floor dilapidated and in need of removal. Brent Davis responded to my call the same day, came out that evening to survey the task, and appeared the next day with an estimate for the job. I agreed and work on the building was initiated within another day.
Brent?s plan was to support the structurally sound second floor then use a crane to lower it to ground level after demolition and removal of the dilapidated first floor. The lowered second floor would then serve as basis for a one-story building to be outfitted with siding of hemlock board, windows, and ramp and door wide enough to admit my lawn care equipment. Shelving and a pull-down ladder to a loft area would be installed. Finally, an area to store firewood open on the sides but covered by a roof would be attached at the rear of the building.
A work crew of six to eight members worked on the building all day from early in the morning to early in the evening for a week. Brent was on site frequently to supervise or perform work himself. My suggestions were solicited and I was invited to watch the work in progress.
I was very pleased when the project was completed. The building appears as if it were newly constructed. The carpentry work is of high quality. I believe the agreed price was reasonable and fair. I definitely plan to contact B. Davis Enterprises in future when I have work to be done.
.They arrived at the agreed time and started working .They where very careful to not mess up my floors. Having just moved in Nov 1st 2013 and being my 1st home I was nervous about this unexpected repair. They where very polite and told me what they where doing ,why and how fast the repairs where going to take.
.During my home inspection prior to purchase, it was discovered in the attic crawl space there where no electrical boxes covering the open wires to the ceiling fans. After removal of the tank , we found the furnace and washing machine where connected to a wall outlet. No dedicated electric line to the circuit box. This was not discovered by the Home Inspector.
This wasn't right so A.Veteran gave me an estimate and didnt charge any extra fee since they would have to get the supples and come back and do the electrical work at another time.
Water tank work finished Upgrade of plumbing went just like they said..Everything was great. They cleaned up .Told me if any questions, problems etc. please call.
.Hooray I had hot water. Then I did laundry .I had water behind the new tank and utility sink. At 7:30 pm on a Friday ,I called and JT right come over. After some investigation he found that drain pipe from utility sink had a crack in the back and water from washer was leaking out of that crack. He had to come back he didn't have correct part.,however he used alot of electrical tape "quick McGyver fix" so if I wanted to do laundry I could.Although he doesn't recommend this type of work.He assured me that the tape would hold.It did.
It probably cracked when they moved the sink to replace the hot water tank. This went unnoticed until the washer unloaded the water..Even though it was later on Friday evening and he did spend time checking all the work he and his crew had done. He didnt charge a service call fee.
New hot water tank, upgrade to water pipes and unexpected eletrical work finished a week later and emerency water leak call. This company is very resposible and responsive .I would call them again. I plan to hire B. Davis Enterprises for the tree work when the weather permits.
Subsequent work (gravel pad) was done without any call back required.
