Bought material they recommended for an exterior deck. The material was approx. $15,000 plus $5-6 to build the deck. The rep pushed the lifetime warranty of the product. We purchased based on the reps recommendations about quality and the look of the product. This was not the low cost option. Within 2 years the material rotted away and is unsafe to walk on. Railings have literally fallen apart. After multiple times calling the rep and getting voicemail I was told the company that manufactured the decking went out of business and there was nothing that could be done. I have a quote to tear down and replace the deck for $23,000. Two points of frustration and things you should consider when dealing with this company: 1. The suppliers they use are the ones warranting the product and they obviously don't use financially secure ones, effectively making any warranty suspect/worthless. 2. When there is a problem you are going to have to call multiple times to get a response. I've spent $75,000+ on housing and business projects over the last 10+ years with B&L and won't in the future.
