About us

Animal Ark was opened by Dr. Gerald Campbell in 1987. This practice was built to primarily serve Millcreek residents and their pets. On June 1, 1998, because of tremendous growth, a second hospital, Animal Kingdom Pet Hospital was opened on Erie's east side. Today we have 10 veterinarians and over 25 staff members working between both hospitals.

Services we offer

Full service animal hospital. We provide wellness exams along with vaccinations. Surgery, dental cleanings, ultrasounds,CO2 laser are just a few of the many service we provide. Services Offered: Anesthesia, digital radiology and ultrasound, electrocardiography, dentistry, laboratory, microchipping, pharmacy, individualized flea control programs, dietary counseling, behavioral counseling, birds, reptiles, rabbits and small mammals, blood transfusion & immunization and wellness care.

They were able to diagnose my cat with lung cancer and I think they're very good. The other animal hospital we first went into took a couple of x-rays but wasn't really able to find anything.

Went fine. As usual, Dr. Campbell did a very thorough job with both dogs. Did all the preventative work needed as well as the diagnostics for those conditions which are not readily apparent.

We take both of our dogs to Animal Ark. We have always been satisfied with their care. We have seen almost all of the vets at one point or another. They know that our one dogs has a little bit of anxiety about seeing the doctor so they are always extra loving with her. They are a bit expensive, especially for prescriptions but I believe the quality I receive from them is worth the extra money.

They are pretty good. They have a really good responsive staff. The doctors there are pretty knowledgable. They are really good with the animals. We only have dogs. We don't have cats so I can't speak for that. As far as the dogs go the animals seem to know that they are there to help them. They lust do their job. I don't know what else to say. They are good at their job.

My dog had cancer and they did a very good job. He is feeling great. There are no infections or anything. The vets treat him great. I feel very confident with them. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

We had to put my cat to sleep last year. My vet, Ms. Christine Nestor came to my house and did it. She took her and got her cremated. She also had some of her fur saved for us and also saved her paw print. Their price was fair. She was very good in terms of her professionalism. She was excellent. She would go up and beyond. She could not have made a touch time like that any easier for us. This woman should be a vet. We have only one cat left now and we go to them once a year.

I've been using them for 30 years. They've treated 5 of my dogs. They are conscientious and very caring. They give personal care. The owner is as important as the dog or the cat. They are very professional. They are good about answering questions over the phone. They are good about returning phone calls as well. I would continue to use them in the future.

I spent too much for their services. I like the fact that they separate the cats and the dogs; each has separate doors to enter. The place is clean and the people are friendly and efficient. The veterinarians are good with the animals.

When you enter, there is a door for cats and a door for dogs. Keeping the cats and dogs separate keeps the noise and excitement down. The veterinarians are very good, they are very professional, they do a good job, and you can tell that they care for the animals.
