American Freight Furniture and Mattress - Erie

Waited for mo ths for the last piece of furniture arrive. 4 months later it came just before Christmas. John the Manager at the Erie PA store admitted to my wife and i today he changes prices and could loose his job because of that. Very Shady operation. Its a Bait and Switch situation. Furthermore the Manager John stated due to our inconvenience in waiting the difference of just over $100. Would be ceedited to our acc3 and that he would email the finance company to credit and close the account as PAID IN FULL. That was in late December. Now I know why he never gave us proof in receipt. We had a happy Christmas and Merry New Year. Feeling goodwill we supplied 50 bucks to the finance comany American freight deals with as an additional thank you for the discounts and credits, and to solve any ambiguousness. WE NEVER RECEIVED A RECEIPT OR REVISED CONTRACT of John's wheeling and dealing. The store Manager John stated to us today 06/20/2020 he gave us over 1200.dollars credit before as an incentive to seal the deal in October 2019 and that if anyone knew about that he could loose his job. We suggest he does just that. No monthly statements Done deal Not so Finance dept started to charge interest in mid Jan202. Never recei ed any correspondence till just this passed May. 700 dollars is now the bill that had been supposed to be wiped clean last December. The Mgr did not keep his word. He never emailed the finance company to alert them of his discounts and credits to finally have this acxount closed before January finance charges began. 3 days ago Mgr John adm6he made a.mistake and would fix it.
