The initial consultation and estimate went well. On then day of service, which took him forever to cash the deposit and set a date, 3 people showed up to do the work. One of the things on the estimate was to trim about 1 foot off 2 huge bushes.. Well we decided that removing 1' from these bushes was going to leave all sticks and no green. That part of the job alone saved them a lot of time. A regular trim was done instead. Towards the end of the job, they were short on mulch so they went and got more. I was running errands so I was not there when they finished. I expected to pay the other half of the estimate upon completion of the job. To my surprise, an additional $124 was added to my bill because they needed an extra yard of mulch. I shouldn't have been charged due to the fact that there were things they did not have to do that were in the original estimate. I did send the check for the whole amount and shortly there after contacted them to talk about the overcharge. They were not willing to negotiate a refund of $50 or $75. I actually had to sue these low lives in district court were the judge found in my favor and I was awarded $154 to be refunded. This was in July and they still haven't paid what the judge ordered. How disgraceful and greedy these idiots are! Do yourself a favor and don't use them. It cost me almost $600 for $300 worth of work. My next step, because they refuse to pay is to have the judgment put on their credit report which I fully intend to do. I have also and will continue to complain to new Holland township for using them to do upkeep on a small park that is being funded through the township. Really?! They should not be able to do any work that is paid through tax payers or donations while there is a judgment against them! Take responsibility for you debts you friggin losers!
