Katie, who handles the incoming calls, was most helpful and professional. They offered a free loaner car, which we did not need, but it was good to know it was available. They quoted a price and the final cost was on target. The work was completed before our expectations. The boss guy was quite affable and left a good impression. Really it's a no-brainer for us to return there.

In person, I received estimate of getting tire plugged or replaced. Checked price versus competitors and dealers and it was cheaper. Went back to get tire replaced. Very friendly service person manning the desk both occasions.

I work full time and need the ability to get to work when my car (2000 Toyota Rav4) is getting work done. I truly appreciate the freedom that Kreitzer's free loaner vehicle provides me. Also, I was very busy and they were very responsive, and beat the tire price from another tire place. They also were able to schedule my car quickly (once I was ready to get the tires done) and completed all of the work in an expedited manner. I appreciated the honest pricing as well as their commitment to get me an estimate and not make me feel like it was a bother to provide an estimate prior to service. As usual, my experience with Kreitzer is as good as it gets. Katy is great with explaining everything in detail. I like that she will tell us what needs to be done immediately....and what can wait. As a member of the Car Care Club, they even provide a free loaner vehicle. You just can't beat the honesty and service this company provides.

Kreitzers beat the estimate from the dealership, took care of me within a day, and educated me on maintenance of my car. I knew I needed new tires and he also helped me with price comparison and quality of tires to choose.

I called Kreitzer's for an estimate on replacing my AC line set because a hole had worn into the lines. On the phone, they explained that my lines were metal, so it would be difficult to wear through them. They wanted to take a look at the car first. I took the car for an initial diagnostic on 7/3 and was informed that one of the engine mounts had broken, which led to the engine sagging and wearing on the AC line set. They took the time to explain, in detail, the issues with the vehicle and even brought out some old parts and showed us how it was all supposed to work. They went above and beyond in trying to gain our trust in their expertise. They also recommended replacing the receiver dryer but we opted not to do that service. I brought the car back one week later, was given a free loaner car, and the car was ready in less than 48 hours. The AC was working perfectly, air temperature was 45 degrees coming out of the AC system. When I came to pick up the vehicle, Katy at the shop offered to show me the broken parts so I could get a better picture of what they had replaced.

I've been taking both our cars to Kreitzer Automotive for the past year. Other than driving and adding fuel, I know very little about cars and have always wanted a mechanic I could trust. I've found such a place! Jim and his crew will tell you when work needs done.....and when it can wait. Their mechanics are top-notch and the services cost WAY less than taking it to a dealer. Just a note....the price I paid for service today included a $99 Care Care Club which gives me more than my money back in value. It includes 4 free oil changes, free wiper blades, discounts on routine maintenance, and a free loaner car while mine is in the shop. It's a no-brainer! Try Kreitzer once and you'll be back. It's the kind of place you'll tell a friend about.

The check engine light had come on and the car was vibrating at times. I took it to a local Honda dealer and was told the reason for the light and vibration was that the torque converter had gone bad and needed replaced. I was also told the transmission was not shifting properly and was beginning to fail. I did some researching on line and found that the transmission/torgue converter in the 2001 Honda Civic was problematic and that there service bulletins regarding this (no recalls). I took the car the Kreitzer's Automotive for a second opinion. They were able to check it out the next day and confirmed the transmission was beginning to fail. Jim explained in detail about the service bullentin from Honday, what he found after doing the diagnostics, and gave me his recommendation. He explained that they use Jasper re-manufactured transmissions which are guaranteed for 36 months or 100,000 miles. Jasper re-engineers the transmission to fix the design shortcomings of Honda's design. Wheras, if I were to have the car fixed by the dealer, they would put in a re-manufactured transmission from Honda (not redesigned) and would warranty it for 36 months or 36,000 miles. The cost was comparable, so I decided to go with Kreitzer's as I got a better deal. I also had Jim replace the other items mentioned above they were due for replacement and it saved me money to do it now while the transmission was being replaced. The new transmission arrived within a day of ordering it and all the work was done in about 2 days. They did a great job, were very professional, and easy to deal with. Jim followed up the day after we picked up the car just to make sure everything was working OK....which it was. I don't know that I ever had a followup call like that. I highly recommend Kreitzer's Automotive ... they also provide a loaner car if needed which is an added plus.

I have been a customer of Kreitzer's for four years. I am always pleased with the service I get. This is truly a mechanic I can trust. In fact two years ago I moved to an hour and a half away and I still only let me touch my car. I even come back for oil changes!

After my inspection last year from one of the national chains, I was provided a quote saying that next year I would need $1,500 worth of work done to pass inspection. Having recently started a new business, I'm trying to save money wherever possible so I tried Kreitzer's Automotive Service after hearing really good things from various sources in my network Short of it, got my inspection and Jim Kreitzer verifed that no work was necessary at this time. Thank goodness!!! Beyond my hope that previously quoted work was not required, my vehicle was promptly attended to as a walk-in appointment. Jim is a really great guy but everyone else I dealt with were also fantastic and friendly. We will definitely be returning for future needs. Great to find a car shop I can finally trust!

On time, on schedule, fully explained this work done and showed worn parts, very knowledge and very honest.

Excellent...Jim was referred to me by a friend who told me that she and her family will never use anyone else. I contacted Jim and he took time to review other auto reports and estimates; assessed my van; showed me what work needed to be done- literally pointed out what was what (had pictures in case I wasn't available to see the van while it was hoisted); completed the work. This review is for the second round of work he did...same professionalism and care!

It must have been $1000, but was more that $500 that I spent on that service. There was nothing that I disliked and they were very nice and helpful. I would tell others that I think that they were very honest and they tried very hard to help me out. They gave me a loner car to use and things like that. It is just a small family business, but they did an exceptional job. The price was comparable to anybody else.

Jim always works with our staff to provide accommodating times to do our work vehicles. We have used Jim Kreitzer's services for years and have recommended him to too many people to recall. He and his new and growing staff are absolutely the best, everything from knowledge to honesty to best price...and that free loaner vehicle when needed is a nice benefit too!

see above Had purchased tires some years ago from a Good Year dealer. With the purchase I had lifetime free rotation and balance. Had taken the truck back for that free service. While the truck was up on the lift they told me I needed new shocks and that I had multible leakes and that all my fluids should be changed. All of these things were necessary to pass inspection. Estimeated cost: $1000.00 As I take all of my vehicles to Kreitzer's for service, I thanked Goodyear and told them that I have all of my work done elsewhere. I took the vehile to Kreitzer's where all of the above, excluding the tire rotation, was perfromed. Total cost: $48.00cost

This was a 1997 Camry that had been run very little for 2 years. I had it towed to Kreitzer's for state inspection. Jim was very accommodating when I called for an appointment. He notified me of the need for the above parts and the estimated cost . I was satisfied with the price. The vehicle runs really well. We were so pleased with the service that my husband is taking his car there. I will be recommending Kreitzer's to my friends.

I needed to get a new flex pipe so I could pass inspection. Additionally, i had previously gotten a quote from PepBoys, who I just knew were full of crap. I brought my concerns to Kreitzers and they were incredibly accommodating. They proved that my suspicions regarding what PepBoys found were correct and fixed my car appropriately. I've never had my car to as shop before as my ex used to fix my vehicles. I gave punctuality and responsiveness a rating of good solely because I didn't hear back from them and I had to call with follow-ups. I am not sure if that is how it is supposed to be or if I should have had regular updates at the end of each day. Therefore I rated those two in the middle because I didn't know. Jim was very personable and I was able to speak to the mechanic working on my car as well. I thought that was great! In the end, my car is fixed and they explained all the steps they took to diagnose it. Do contact Kreitzer's for anything from an oil change to major repairs. They do it all, except for upholstery. You won't be dissappointed!

I appreciate the honesty and knowledge that Kreitzers offer. I don't know much about cars and I can be easily manipulated. I have never had that happen at Kreitzers. They are not high pressured sales, but more friendly and explain things in lay terms. Jim says he guarantees all of the work too!

Jim Kreitzer and the team at Kreitzer's Auto Service provide high quality auto care with a personal approach that is hard to find in today's world. They actually are interested in their customers as people, and are not "all about the money..." I initially heard about their shop while I was getting a haircut at the local barber shop, and thought I would give them a try. That was 2 years ago, and I have been using their shop for all 4 of my vehicles ever since. Their work has always been superb, and my cars have never run better! It is relatively easy to schedule an appointment, and Jim's mom, who serves as the receptionist during the day, is super-nice and a very sweet woman. He also has a towing business if you need to have your car transported. Repairs are generally completed in 1 day, but for larger jobs, they do have a limited number of loaner vehicles available for just the price of replacing the fuel that you use. Their prices are very reasonable, and Jim certainly is not out there to take advantage of anyone. Once you meet him, you will see what I mean. He is simply an honest, hard-working individual who still treats his customers with a great deal of respect, the way it should be.

It went very well. I dropped off my car at 8am and it was available for me by that afternoon.

After finding out that my front brakes were shot, i called up Kreitzer's to make an appointment. They were very helpful on the phone and even ordered the parts before I dropped off my vehicle. The repairs were completed as promissed and ahead of schedule. They even showed me the old parts and made recommendations for maintenance. I am very satisfied with the service and will recommend them to others. Great Job Guys!!

As usual, Jim was very accomodating because I was not sure if I wanted the job done or not. My van sat there for weeks and he never put any pressure on me to decide. After I finally decided to have the job done, it was completed in a very professional and timely manner. I have been a customer at Kreitzer's for over 20 years and trust him totally with my vehicles. If Jim says that something needs to be done I know that it's necessary. I give Kreitzer's an A++ in ALL areas and If anyone needs to have ANY work done, or services performed, I strongly recommend contacting Jim at Kreitzer's before taking it anywhere else.
