Absolute Carpet Care

Description of Work: This was a "special" via Groupon, for 3 rooms of carpet cleaning and per Absolutes web site, at the time, square footage was not an issue, that has since been removed. I scheduled to have family room, stairs/hallway, and the edge of my box spring cleaned which was agreed upon to equate to the 3 room coupon special. After researching my box spring issue, it was advised not to get it wet. Chris called to change the date, OK with me. At that time, I changed the box spring to my living room. Chris agreed to that as well. He was early for his appointment which he called first to see if it was OK with me. All of my rooms were empty. He did not to have to move a thing. When he left, my foyer was soaked with water, does not clean up after himself, and he DID NOT clean my hallway. One of the main focal points of cleaning, a high traffic area. The steps were wet but you could not tell they were even cleaned. You could not tell visually where his stopping point was between the hallway and living room. You could only tell because the hallway was perfectly dry. This is NOT a steam cleaning (it is not advertised as such), it is a wet cleaning and I will dispute whether it is "hot" water as advertised. He asked to get hot water from my spigot. Spigot water is not hot enough to clean carpet. I called him the same day of the cleaning to discuss this and he never returned my call. That's why he gets a "D" for professionalism. I called Groupon and was reimbursed by them. The carpet has since been redone and it looks beautiful, including the steps and hallway.
