Came to look at a potential blockage in our pipes. He was there less than 45 minutes, and was not able to fix the blockage. A few weeks later, we get a bill for close to $300.

He did a good job.  He easy to get ahold of and respond.

What I anticipated to be a long process -- the leak was extremely slow and impossible (for me) to locate -- turned out to be no problem for Tom's experience and professionalism. In short order, he found the leak and the reason for it, got the materials necessary to repair it, and completed the repair. He cleaned up after the job, leaving the area in great shape.

Disclaimer: I've known Tom for a long time, but had never used his services before. This is the first time I've needed a plumber, and I decided that I might as well call him. I am very glad that I did, and I heartily recommend him.

They were more reliable but expensive. They were very responsive. I think it was a day after thanksgiving or something, where I had an emergency and they came. It's a small company. They've done a lot of work here. I've had them do a ton of things because they do very polished work and they use only the highest quality stuff which is expensive. If you have a very complicated problem and you call them, they would know what they are doing. We spent $400 for each toilet. I would definitely use them again but not on an expensive project.
