In one word. TERRIBLE! I gave him half up front and had a terrible time getting him to do the job. In fact, he subs out the work and the two guys that came were awesome, but i found out that the owner failed to pay them and i was looking at having a mechanics lien put on my house by those that did the work. Paul showed up once in tne beginning to pour the footer. Although the footer was about four feet deep And tbe hole was 6x3 diameter, he just dumped bags of concrete in tne hole and added water. I guess he figured mixing was not needed. I made him dig that out and as i figured, there was a bunch of mix that remained dry. He finally had a cement truck pour it, as he should have done in the beginning. In summary, do not hire this guy. His dad was a great mason but son is killing the reputation. Run, do not walk away. This guy is broke and appearently has some habits that are out of control.

They first couldn't figure out where the flue went and subsequently had to puncture the wall multiple times. They did fix that issue though it should have been a warning sign to me of things to come. Then when the chimney sweep came 6 months later and opened the clean out door they installed, it fell out of the wall (my wife was witness that this was prior to them using any brooms that may have knocked it loose). They were poorly responsive but when they finally responded 2 weeks after I contacted them and came to look at it, they then required me to call the night before to remind them to come to my house to fix it. I forgot to do this once and then was unable to get them to respond for a few months. Once I did, they refused to come unless it was raining and told me to contact them the day before it was scheduled to rain, but per his text: "Mon - friday you get". I did and he confirmed he would show up at 5pm on Sept 20, 2017 but he did not show, nor did he respond to text or phone contact until October 9 when he responded "I will get there when i [sic] can. You screwed up the date the first time. We didn't break the seal on the clean out door. Your chimney sweep did. When I am doing things for free i [sic] will get there when i [sic] can[.]" This company is unprofessional, does not stand by their work when things go wrong, and are extremely unresponsive. DO NOT HIRE THEM IF YOU VALUE QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM!
