Hendrick's is not just a mechanic (and body shop); I have relied on their expertise for over twenty years, and it just gets better over time. They are the kind of old-fashioned, hard working group that seem to come from a bygone era. They have stood behind their work when something went wrong (even though it wasn't really what they had fixed), and they do not "create" work -- they will tell you what needs to be done and why. I have had everything from an oil change to replacing a transmission done here, and continue to trust them with the cars that I, my wife, and my kids drive. When I have had to drop off a car that has a problem, they are quick to diagnose and repair the car (at a reasonable rate), and get me back on the road safely.

Quick and fast service

It went well. Very detailed invoice explaining the work done with part/labor split. Everyone there has been nice and polite to my wife and I, which quite honestly is not the norm for a car shop. We will continue to go there.

It took them several months to find a lower-mileage engine. The first engine was snapped up by someone else before they could purchase it.

We have worked with them for a long time. Their service is friendly and they are upfront with both time and cost estimates. They drove me home since they were backed up. The car was done in a few hours and they called as soon as it was ready. The problem was car would not always start The location of the battery required extra labor to reach. one cable was frayed and the battery was old.
We have also used them for car inspections and various repairs over the years. They always call if they find something unusual or unexpected and give us alternatives with the costs and benefits..ee

Took me in as scheduled. Car was finished when promised . Manager took the time to completely explain what was done. Brakes were borderline... and they will contact me in 6 months to have replaced. My prior shop would have replaced them.

It works great now that it's fixed! Whenever you go to these folks, they do it at a fact pace. Not only is it done fast, but it's done right. I found that to be very important.

Overall, I feel like they were extremely nice. They had great customer service compared to other garages I walked into. Their prices were very comparable. The only problem I had was they had my car for over two weeks. Since I was out of a car that long I will probably not go back. Their main excuse was that they were too busy and could not get it in today. They finally gave her a car to use since they had it for so long. The service was great and my car is running great. I felt very welcome at the shop. I do wish they would have been more up front with her about how long it would have taken, so I could have planned accordingly.
