Kuhn's General Contracting, LLC

Marvin with Kuhn's General Contracting, LLC did a metal roof on my house two years ago in the spring of 2020. I met him and a few of his workers at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show in March of 2020 just before the start of the pandemic. I attempted to do research on his company prior to hiring him and only learned that he formed the LLC in June 2013. He and his crew had to return to my house four times to correct four different leaks after installing the metal roof. One of the leaks was thought to be corrected, but there were water stains on my drywall ceilings that I just had hung this past weekend. I attempted to contact Marvin multiple times to come out and correct the bad workmanship, but he failed to respond. I left several voicemails asking politely that he return to correct the metal roof install, but again he has failed to respond. Spending a significant amount of savings on a new roof, only to have it leak multiple times within the first two years, is unacceptable and demonstrates poor craftsmanship. I will have to work with another roofer to address the leak in my roof at my own cost since Marvin is no longer returning calls or text messages. The best I can do now is to share my poor experience with Marvin and Kuhn's General Contracting, LLC so that others may make a more informed decision on who they hire in the future for roofing work. Had I been aware of the poor craftsmanship in March 2020 through a review online, I would have saved my money and time for a more accountable roofing company.
