MEILY'S TREE SVC

Meily’s Tree Service recently cut down a 90 foot tulip poplar tree that was on our property and located close to our house. Shawn was the lead of the crew of 2. The long and short of our experience was that they did a fantastic job. They were competent, courteous and competitive. I can’t believe how they were able to drop the large branches of the tree into areas that did not damage other adjacent landscaping. When I have the need for additional tree services there is no doubt in my mind that I will only contact Meily’s. Job well done and thank you!

I called Meily's and immediately spoke with the owner. He responded with a quote within a couple days after he was able to visit the site for inspection. We then discussed the overall project and agreed to allow his crew to spread it out over the course of a several weeks given it's size and his current business demands. I wasn't in a great hurry as I couldn't replant until the fall season anyway so it worked out very well for us. Over the next several weeks, his crew came once or twice per week (rain days were prevalent and limiting) to gradually take down all the 45 fir and spruce trees/stumps lining our back yard. Everyone involved was very professional, polite, meticulous with clean up, and they got the job done quickly despite many rain limiting days. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely use them again in the future.

When I called for a quote, they called me back within one day.  That same day they drove out to give me an estimate, which came in below a few others I had gotten.  Within a week of hireing them, they came out and performed the work.  They worked the entire time they were at my house, almost 6 hours.  The trees look great.

Received an estimate one day after contacting the company. Estimate was for removal of one tree and trimming of another tree. When I called back to accept their estimate I was informed they would get to me as quickly as possible but it may be up to 3 weeks.
They showed up in a few days rather than weeks.
I asked them if it was possible to have a 2nd tree removed and this was no problem. They even suggested removing one small tree which had grown on it's own in the back of the property.
All the work was done very quickly and professionally. I was very happy with the final price and the work performed. The tree they trimmed looks excellent.

Workers showed up on time, were professional and knowledgeable. They worked efficiently and quickly and left no mess behind. They were even nice enough to remove a pile of brush that I had sitting there for awhile. They noticed that I burned wood and then left me the larger limbs for firewood, stacked neatly in a pile. The best part is that Meily's estimate was nearly half of the next nearest bidder. A great experience overall.

Mr. Meily arrived promptly to give me a written estimate. Because I have so many trees and a limited budget, I wanted to deal with only the biggest problems first, and he recommended which trees to work on. He is very knowledgeable and as an arborist knows what is right for the trees. A crew of three arrived two weeks later (giving me 24 hours notice of their arrival), and they worked diligently and professionally in almost 90 degree heat. I received the bill the next day and it was exactly the same as the estimate. I was very happy with the work and plan to use the same company to remove a large tree this fall/winter.

We have used this service before. They are prompt, professional and their costs, competitive. They come in very close to their bid. This time, we were in a bit of a panic because we have seen our pears devastated by high winds in the past. As Sandy was heading up the coast, we called Meily's and they were here the next morning to trim the trees. They trimmed, cleaned up, and carted away. As a result, we had zero tree damage or loss.

Overall I was very pleased with their work and professionalism, and very happy that we didn't have to clean up anything ourselves.

The crew came to cut our trees down several weeks earlier than expected. They were very professional and minimized the damage to our lawn and landscaping. They took the 3 large oak trees down, that could have damaged our home if they fell, in approximately 5 hours.
Mr Meily even took $200 off the original quote, since it did not take as long as expected.

Meily's responded to my request for an estimate on the same day I called them. The work was performed within two weeks, as agreed. The workmen who removed the trees appeared to be experienced, and they were properly equipped. The work was done to my satisfaction.

Meily's Tree Service came out on time and brought one of the bucket lift trucks and did it all. Nothing was damaged. They are very good. They are punctual, professional, they cleaned up afterwards. The crew was nice and cooperative. We were very pleased with the service.
