Hershey door service replaced 3 garage doors for us and everything went as planned. Showed up on time and did a great job. Very satisfied with the job that was done.

Service tech was great. He explained possible causes of problems and worked through troubleshooting beginning with lowest cost options first. We were invoiced only upon successful fix of our door operation & pricing for service was reasonable. We will use this vendor in the future.

Great! They came out the very next morning, I just left the side door open for them. I came home within an hour of them being here and it was all fixed! They sent me the bill in the mail. I was super pleased with their response time and quickly ability to get a job done.

Installation went well

I live in Florida, but the property that needed the garage doors are in Middletown PA.  I actually found  Hershey Door Service, Inc on Angies list.  I was very pleased with the professionalism from my initial phone call to the last.   First they went to the site and measured everything.  I received a quote via email before any thing was done.  After I approved the quote we made a date for the doors to be installed.   The installer arrived on time and did a wonderful job. My daughter lives at this property I'm sure if she had any thing negative to say she would have told me.  The garage doors look great.  My daughter is now in heaven.  The old doors were heavy rotting wood and had to be manually opened and closed  I would definitely recommend Hershey Door Service, INc.

I called for service on a garage door opener that they had installed. I spoke to a woman who referred me to an installer. He helped me trouble shoot a problem and in about five minutes the problem was solved and at no cost. Very professional!!!

After being thoroughly messed over by Sears install services, I searched Angie's List for someone who could install my garage door opener. I called Hershey Door Service and spoke to Nichole to schedule the install. She was very friendly and in no time I was all set. Just as promised, on the day of the install I received a phone call telling me the installer was due to arrive in 10 - 15 minutes. The installer was on time and got right to work. The entire install only took about 1 1/2 hours to complete, despite the fridge 8 degree temperature. I will receive a bill in the mail so I did not even have to worry about payment right then and there. The best part....all the necessary brackets etc. were included in the installation price and it was $120 less than what Sears was going to charge me! It was less than half of the Sears install price!!! Thanks for providing horrible customer service and saving me lot of money Sears install! And thanks to Hershey Door Service for providing great, professional customer service!!

Although we haven't had our replacement garage door service performed yet we have had them to our home for other garage door service at our current address and a previous location.  They were always prompt and courteous and did a fast, efficient job.  We have had no problems with any work they have done for us and I would highly recommend them.

One person did both the doors and he did them in one day. He did a very nice job and behaved appropriately. He had many years of experience and he obviously knew what he was doing.

Work was completed in a timely and professional manner.  We love the doors.  We were able to get the prararie style insert for the windows that coordinates with the rest of the house design.  So quiet and much warmer in the garage now.

My garage door coiling spring broke in the middle of the night (I thought someone had crashed into my house!). It's a pretty standard 2-car garage door.  Without the spring, I had to ask my wife to help me lift the door just to get the cars out for the day. 
I googled how to replace it myself because I am pretty handy, but each website highly recommended against a DIY fix because the spring must be placed under high tension to open/close the door.  After reviewing Angie's list, I called Hershey Door.  I was surprised   - they had a technician available that very afternoon and we made an appointment time.  He called me 20 minutes before arriving to let me know he was en-route, and he arrived exactly on time.  He had all of the repair parts on his truck.  It was obvious the technician knew exactly what to do and how to do it.  He replaced the spring in about 30 minutes, and then made some adjustments so it it would roll up more evenly.  He lubricated the rollers and guides, and even made a repair of a broken section at no cost.  The bill was exactly what Hershey Door had estimated over the phone. 
I will call Hershey Door again when I have garage door trouble or need a new one.  I can highly recommend them to anyone.  It was an excellent experience.

We had an estimator come out but he could not figure out if the job was possible. Mr. Hershey himself then came out to look at the project. He figured out how to make it work and got his guys there. Within weeks it was installed.
