I had a bedpost finial which was stripped and would wobble and tilt to one side. I found Furniture Medic on Angie's list and gave them a call. Bob answered and, once it was determined that this would not need an on-site repair, he suggested I come to his shop, just off the square in Elizabethtown, PA. It is easy to miss the driveway next to his shop; it is the very first one on the right after driving on S. High Street. Bob was very friendly and quickly determined that this repair was something I could do, and told me how to do this, not charging me for his advice or time, for which I was most appreciative. Furniture Medic will be my first choice should I need furniture repair. He knows what he is doing and is obviously concerned that the customer has received the service for which he came. His solution worked well.

Bob assessed the damage and determined what would need to be done to repair the piece. He told me it would need some carpentry work and that he would get and estimate for my approval before proceeding. He did that and we agreed on a price. He managed the relationship with the carpenter and did the finishing himself. The piece was restored to and quot;brand newand quot; condition. I would without hesitation recommend this provider and would use him again if the need arose.

They were professional and did all the work on time.

He did an excellent job. We guessed at the colors and he got it perfectly. He got it done in a timely fashion. I felt that it was in good hands and I knew that he would do the job that needed to be done. I felt that he was doing good quality work from start to finish. He did have the upholstery done by somebody else, but he handled all that himself. It is just he and his wife and it is a family business. The parking is easy. He is knowledgeable about antiques, collectables and refinishing. He seemed like he knew what he was doing.
