My furnace was not functioning normally.  After troubleshooting, I was unable to remedy the problem on my own.  I called Andy around 1600 on March 10 and he was at my home within the hour.  He assessed the problem quickly and accurately and fixed the issue.  His pricing is fair - he did not charge an after hour/emergency fee for this visit.  I will definitely call Elizabethtown Heating and Cooling for future HVAC needs.  

They were reasonably priced and they were easy to deal with.

I actually had 3 separate projects over a 6 month span.  The first project was installing a natural gas furnace. I previously had baseboard electric heat and my electric bill was through the roof.   It made sense to upgrade to a more efficient form of heating. This company was amazing when they did the installation.  It took a span of two days to install and by the end of my basement was cleaner than I left it.  I was very surprised in how honest they were when I asked them how much it would cost to run heating upstairs(cape cod house).  They told me it would more cost effective to install a mini-split system (later project).  About 3 months later (when it got warmer), I wanted to get rid of my window unit air conditioner.  I was so impressed with how they handled the furnace I didn't even bother looking at any other company.  The project took about a day and again my basement was cleaner than I left it. My third project was a few months later and that was to install the minisplit for my upstairs bedroom. I highly recommend getting a mini-split.  When I bought it I was able to claim a $300 tax credit!  In addition, this unit is able to heat/cool a 550sq bedroom.  The installation took about a day and the unit is insanely quiet.  I highly recommend Elizabethtown Heating & Cooling!

Etown Heating and Cooling provided us with fantastic service and excellent quality workmanship. They offered us the best price on a new central air unit and they were very easy to deal with. They had to custom fit the inside part of our central air unit and did an excellent job. We will definitely use them again for all our heating and air conditioning needs.

From the presale bidding process to final installation, the services performed were excellent! Andy, the owner, was very helpful in educating me on HVAC basics and providing what was needed- vs. overselling things that I didnt need. Because of his many years of experience in the field, he was knowledgeable with real experiences and about differences of various systems, and how they perform long term and what to watch for. Both Andy and Ashley were timely in answering my questions presale, and both hand delivered quotes within 24 hrs.
Proper expectations were set and met, installation was timely and very thorough, and Andy personally showed up before and after to manage the install to ensure everything was done right by his team. He showed me the scope of work they completed, both indoor and out. Andy and his team even made some corrections to the existing electrical interfaces that was outside of the scope of work, for FREE. This was done to ensure the system would operate optimally. The install of the outdoor unit was a key note, as they placed the unit on a solid base that they provided, and created level gravel that was neatly done, and looked sharp. Having replaced my heat pump once previously, another HVAC company told me it was my responsibility on placement, levelness, etc. So, this was quite a relief! Andys' install techs were also very friendly, courteous, and did neat work!
Regarding pricing, they were very competitive! Their pricing for a 15 SEER System with Variable Speed Air Handler and Digital WiFi thermostat was really not much higher than contract grade 13 SEER system that other vendors were quoting (Opt for 15+ SEER and VS Handler, you'll be glad you did- comfort and efficiency is amazing!!!). For me, it really came down to confidence in their ability to provide a great install, ongoing support, value pricing, along with the strength of the Rheem product line. As a follow up, they registered my product with Rheem on my behalf, and even sent me a populated PPL cash rebate form post sale- excellent follow up! I am very happy with my experience with Etown Heating and Cooling, and highly recommend to anyone is need of HVAC services!
