Kilkeary's Auto Body

Went here because they were the local "BMW Certified" Autobody shop. My wife scrapped the back bumper fascia on her BMW X6 backing it into the garage. Came here for an estimate and was prompty provided one, but the cost was $1,850 which was ridiculous in my opinion for the work involved. Their hourly rates were in line with tehir competition byt their estimated hours were 2X what such a repair takes realistically. I chose not to have the repair done here and instead when to another local shop that does a lot of repair work on high end imports (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc) and it cost exactly half. Also had a 3rd estimate done and it was not quite half, but close. I would consider Kilkearys if I had major repair and reconstruction from significant collision, but never again for superficial autobody repairs that involve basic exterior repair and paint.

Original it was promised to be done in 3 days, however, it apparently did not fit into their plans since it took 4 days to do the minor repair.
The extra day created a problem because I had quoted the person who hit me a price based on the estimate. The extra cost for having the rental car an extra day is still unresolved - it is possible I have to go through small claims court to get paid - all that caused by me being mislead!
They were also a couple of hundred dollars more than other estimates - however the repair was superb.

I was involved in an automobile accident on 1/25/14. Due to my schedule and the backlog at Kilkeary's, I left my car for repairs on Monday 2/17/14. The insurance adjuster reviewed the damage the next day, and called me to say he and Kilkeary's had scheduled the work to be completed by the following Wednesday. The following Tuesday I called Kilkeary's to check on the status of the repair work, and was told no work had been done to my car. Their excuse was they were very busy and hoped to get my car done the following week. The fact I scheduled the work to take into account their backlog, and a completion date had been agreed to made no difference. They never contacted me to let me know the work would be delayed. Their attitude was unprofessional and non responsive. In other words, they would get to the car when it fit into their schedule. If that was a problem for me, too bad so sad.

The fender and bumper now look like new. All the paint matches exactly. The quality of the repair work is top shelf. Highly recommend this provider!

They were very good. They did a great job on the repair. They explained everything to me. They even tried to get a little more insurance money from my insurance company. They cleaned up the car really nice. They did an excellent job.

Not good. Unless you live in Peters or nearby, it is not convenient to get there, the work estimates for time duration were poor, and the work was just ok. Overall unimpressed and we will not go back.

It went perfect and they just provide great service. They are prompt and do what they say, and for how much. They are upfront with you and don't add on, and I could not get a better place to take my car.

We would use them again.
