My elderly neighbor ent to Sugar Hollow farms to purchase a truck load of top soil for his lawn. They talked him into buying fill and when it was delivered there was as much in the way of large rocks(some as big as footballs) as dirt and clumps of dead grass. His English is not very good SO if they had any questions of what he wanted they could have taken him outside and shown him. If he had that chance he would have refused the fill knowing it was more rock then fill. When it was delivered he told the driver it was not what he ordered but it was dropped anyway.I have spent several hours helping him to remove the rocks since I am concerned for his health. He went to the office on two occasions and both times was told they could do nothing for him. After my posts of a narrative and pictures on Nextdoor I have had four others claim the same problem with fill from Sugar Hollow. This fill is so bad it is only good to fill a mine shaft. Shame on them for not trying to rectify this problem.I am trying to seek justice for this man since he is completely non techno and has no idea what to do . The pictures are after many hours of work cleaning the rocks out .

Description of Work: After a consultation with Sugar Hollow Farms about grading, stones, etc. for our long uphill driveway, we decided to have asphalt put in. Sugar Hollow doesn't do asphalt driveways so (Wayne) Green's Excavating & Landscaping was called in to do the job--an excellent one. We also asked Sugar Hollow to repair some stoneface work on 3 short pillars bordering the front porch. They made an attempt, then assessed what really had to be done, but never returned to do the job despite a couple of phone calls from me--I had the idea that they didn't want to do this sort of thing.

Crew showed up on time and ready to work with the proper equipment. They brought in over 100 yards of fill, topsoil and stone for the job. Lawn area depressions were filled in and covered with 4 in. of topsoil, limed, fertilized, seeded and covered with hay. Driveway and parking area was expanded and leveled with fill. Modified stone was spread over all driveway and parking areas and rolled. Walkway base and two patios was laid down with modified stone and rolled. The work was done professionally, beyond expectations. The crew was polite and careful not to damage the plants around the house. Work was completed ahead of schedule and the area was totally cleaned up before they left. After a heavy rainstorm a few days later, there was a slight depression from settling in the driveway which was not unexpected. Joe came immediately to inspect and had his crew bring in more stone, grade and roll after the weather passed. I Recommended Sugar Hollow Farms without reservation. Having been in business myself, I was looking for professionals who had the proper insurance, supplies, equipment, and experienced staff for the job. The quote was not the cheapest but was very competetive. The company was professional in how they did their work and went out of their way to get it right for me. There is no savings on a cheep job that is done wrong or incomplete. This is the first time I have used them, and will use them again when needed If you want a professional company to do a professional job then I recommend them to you.
