We were looking to expand our pond but to tie it into a
stone wall and pond. We meet Devin at the Phila Suburban Home and Garden Show
and immediately found what we were looking for. Devin came out to our home to
meet us and listen to what we wanted. He drew up drawings and made clay models
of what he thought would be a good idea. Devin was great at listening to us
talk about our ideas. We turned out to be a great team. As he built the wall
and patio we dug out and built the pond and waterfall. Often…OK, a lot of times
I would come to Devin with questions on building the pond wall. He was always
very creative and helpful. As time went on the whole project came together
perfectly. Today we have a great natural patio and wall that ties in perfectly
with our pond. People who visit us always marvel on how well everything looks.
I have visited many homes with Hardscape, none of them compare to the look of natural
stone. If you are contemplating using natural stone please feel free to contact

My husband wanted a stone fire pit and patio installed in our back yard, so we visited the Home Show in Oaks, PA in the Spring of 2011 to get some ideas. We approached Devin after seeing his display, specifically because he works in natural stone as opposed to pavers. We were impressed with his display and his portfolio and left our email address with him for followup. We heard from him in less than a week and he came to our home shortly afterwards. Our idea for what we wanted was quite vague, but he nonetheless was able to come up with a lovely design. After a few minor adjustments, we contracted with him to perform the work.

Devin's start date was within one day of his estimated start date (one day early!), he was here early in the morning till late in the afternoon, and worked through the hottest, dryest July we've ever had. We added the sitting walls after he began the project, partly to alleviate a potential drainage issue, and he still managed to finish just a week later than his original estimated end date.

Devin combines an artist's eye, exacting craftsmenship, an incredibly strong work ethic, and a genuine pride in his work to complete a beautiful project. The patio is beyond what we imagined and we're thoroughly enjoying the fire pit on cool evenings.

We plan to have Devin back in the Spring to do additional work.

Found this provider at a local home show and really liked the look of his work. He is an artist. He contacted us within the week and came to the house the following weekend. We gave him a deposit the same day. I secured a permit (never required for this work except in our township) and we tagged the stone we liked at a local yard. He started work on a Tuesday of the following week. He measured and staked then dug, measured, put down small stone, tamped, measured, etc, etc. He removed excess dirt. Then we had two rain days. He and a helper worked Friday and Saturday putting down the base and making sure it was firm then laying the stone as if putting together a puzzle. They finished the following Monday and cleaned up. We have a beautiful irregular slate front walkway and LOVE it. It is just what we wanted. We did remove our old concrete walkway ourselves. Not everyone has the ability to do that. That would have been an extra cost. Devin is professional and polite, as are his helpers. Would definitely use this company again.
