Don was really professional and did a great job on the inspection. The report seemed to be a pre made format, but that is understandable because you want to remain consistent with your reports. He used an infrared gun to check the attic, basement, and radiators in the house. He didn't actually get on the roof but he used binoculars to inspect it from the ground. If I buy a house in the future and Don is still in business I will gladly use him again. He did not move things around in the house because he didn't have permission from the home owners. If you want all corners inspected you should ask the owners to clear all areas before the inspection date.

We felt completely comfortable with the inspector's background and expertise. We had done a detailed list ourselves on a prior visit to the house. The report provided to us was very detailed and thorough, and hit all of our list, plus some we hadn't thought about. We were very pleased that so many items were reviewed.

It went very well. He seemed very knowledgeable and provided us with detailed documentation as he said he would. His wife grew up in the house, so he was able to tell us quite a bit of detail about the house itself.

Scheduling the inspection was easy and provider showed up promptly. He then informed us that he had to be somewhere tonight but said he should be able to complete the inspection. He inspected all areas of the house and note a few minor issue but nothing major. We were told the roof should last another 10yrs and the house was supported properly. In December we discovered that the roof was leaking. Something a home inspector should catch. Also the basement gets wet in hard rain also something not mentioned. A beam in the basement we asked the inspector specifically about has been looked at by other contractors and we were told should be replaced. The house has sunk in several spots and no mention of this by the inspector. This was a first time buying a home and we did not know what we should be looking for and relied on the inspector. We have had to spend more than $15,000 fixing things that we were told were good.
