The price wasn't as much as some are. They were great. They were very caring about them and made us really comfortable, and he wasn't scared. With my choice, they got us in within a couple of days when I called. We keep going back to them because they are so good with them that's why they are not scared, they are comfortable there, at ease. They make us feel good rather than scared.

They are awesome  and their office staff is friendly.

They treat the animals very well and they are personably priced. It is an excellent facility; the vets are very nice and it is a popular animal hospital. The staff is very friendly and the office environment is very clean.

They are great. I would send any animal there, any day, any time. When the weather starts getting warm like this I have a couple of collies and they start getting red spots on their bellies. All you have to do is call them up and they just call down to the pharmacy and call the meds in for us. Sometimes it is hard to get through because they are always busy. They always take care of you right away. If you have an emergency, they will take you any time or tell you where to go. I've never, ever had a problem. I had a couple of dogs that got really old and had to be put to sleep. Those people were phenomenal. They make sure they are okay before they will let you drive and stuff like that. They are great, really great people. He has a couple of other vets working there too. They are all great. I would go there anytime.

They have exceptional care for the pet's well being. They are very patient. They have excellent evaluation.

The staff are always caring and professional. My only complaint is how long it takes to call them, their phone is always busy.

I have two dogs that received their annual checkups. I also requested a blood test on both as my pets are getting older. Wanted to see if there were any problems developing that could be determined by a blood test. The test only took about 10 minutes and did indicate a developing problem with one dog. The vet was very informative and helpful. Gave me information and stated I could call back with questions any time. Also included in the cost of services was nail clipping, flea medication, and all immunizations including rabies shot. I have been using Ebensburg Animal Hospital as my vet for years. They are a very busy practice, but I have always found them to be a high quality, caring, compassionate, and very reasonably priced veterinary group. I highly recommend them.

I have been taking multiple animals to the Ebensburg Animal Hospital for over a year. The staff is always professional, and quick to help. Whenever I have a problem with one of my pets, I am usually able to get in that very day. The staff has an obvious love of animals. I usually see Dr. Michael Takacs. He is excellent. During one visit I had an elderly dog in for a check up due to stomach issues and vomiting. He explained the exam to me and showed me the xrays. He even called me a few days later to check on her. Have never had that happen before. Through the last 20 years, I have gone to 2 other vet hospitals in the area. Ebensburg Animal Hospital is by far the best. Their prices are half of what I have paid at other offices and their hours of operation make it easier to get an appointment. Can't say enough about how great they are.

All went well great doctors there and they were all very pleasant.

This is an overall summary of two years of experience at the clinic, Prices are fantastic, but you get what you pay for. It is impossible to get an appointment without waiting an eternity unless your animal is dying, The wait when you get to the clinic is extensive, plus there have been times that I have been there that I felt it was potentially dangerous because of the large number of animals crammed into the waiting room at one time. I constantly worried anytime my dog was seen there that something was going to happen to her.

As noted, everything went extremely well, as usual. The staff is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and goes out of their way to be accommodating. My dog got the care he needed without a long wait, at the best price possible. Can't ask for more.
Upon first moving to the Indiana PA area about 14 yrs ago, I think I tried every local vet around, and was greatly disappointed. At that time I had a dog with serious neurological problems including significant seizure disorder, and the quality of care by some local vets was disturbingly poor. When I found out about Ebensburg Animal Hospital, it was a last-ditch effort for my dog. All I can say is thank God for Dr Takacs and his amazing staff at the hospital. Not only is he an extremely gifted and knowledgeable Dr, very caring and personable, but he's taught me a lot over the years.
The hospital has grown since then, now including a larger staff of vets, all of whom deliver extraordinary care. They offer diagnostic testing in the hospital, ie: xrays, blood work, etc,, so waiting for results of routine tests that have to be sent out is not the norm, as with some vet clinics. They also offer a number of products such as pet food, supplements (joint health, vitamin, skin, etc), specialty shampoos etc, none of which I've found anywhere including at online distributors for less. Surgical services and post op care are of the highest quality. Scripts are available there, and again, price is excellent. I can say with certainty that when my pets have needed routine care, or when there have been much more serious problems, Ebensburg Animal Hospital has consistently operated at the highest standards, and continually delivers extraordinary care, with compassion. I want the best for my pets, and I get it there. Period.

On this particular visit, Dr. Michael Takacs checked the dog who was having the problems. He answered all questions I had and checked the dog thoroughly. On the initial health emergency, the dog was seen as soon as I could get him there and kept overnight for further observation. Dr. Takacs even called me over the weekend to make sure the dog was doing well and discussed further medications we were considering. I have been using the Ebensburg Animal Hospital for over 20 years with many dogs. Dr. Jim Takacs is the original veterinarian at this facility but has over vets on staff. His son, Micheal has joined the practice within the last year and continues to supply the care I have always received there. The staff is very friendly and compassionate. It is a very busy animal hospital but for a good reason-it is terrific!

This place is wonderful! They treat the animals great. The staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they get, and they get Busy! The Vets are wonderful. They take time to answer any questions and you don't feel rushed out the door. I recommend this animal hospital to everyone I know. The service is awesome and so are the prices!

The prices are phenomenal. The doctors are just wonderful. They are fun, friendly, and wonderful with the pets. They explain everything to you. They don't try to push you to get extra services. My dog has really bad arthritis and the doctor suggested putting her on glucosamine and chondroitin. I purchased the medications from the office. They were very expensive. The doctor suggested a place where I could find the same medications for a better price. I was really impressed that he told me that. They are extremely hard to get a hold of because they are such a popular office.

They have phenomenal prices. He is an amazing veterinarian. Dr. Takacs and Marcy are very good veterinarians. We drive and hour and a half just to go there it is so worth it.

all that work there a kind and helpful. they try to keep things moving, which can be a nightmare at a busy animal hospital. you're taken to a room, after a short wait, the vet comes in and listens to your worries and problems. he does his best to help the animal and you. their gentle kindness makes the visit more enjoyable for all. i leave felling good and confident about my pets wellbeing. my chihuahuas are my kids, they're happy, i'm happy. and the bill does not send you into bankruptcy.
