About us
Missy has been around animals her entire life. She began riding horses when she was 7 and owned her first horse when she was 10. She began riding in horse shows when she was 12 and competed successfully in 4-H, local open shows and regional Quarter Horse shows. Throughout her horse show career, Missy trained all of her horses herself. Missy grew up with two Cocker Spaniels he father trained for hunting. When she was 14, her father bought his first Labrador Retriever. She instantly fell in love with the breed and has owned Labradors ever since. After retiring from showing horses, Missy became intrigued with training her Labs for obedience and hunt test competitions. In 1992, she started training her yellow Lab, Rufus, to compete in AKC hunt tests and AKC obedience trials. Rufus earned his Companion Dog title, was her first Master Hunter and qualified for the Master National in 2000. Her second trained Lab was a chocolate named Max who earned his Companion Dog title, a Junior Hunter title and then went on to become a certified Search and Rescue dog as part of a FEMA search team.

Everything went extremly well. We were asked to provide our own dog food (as you never want to switch foods especially under a stressful situation like your humans going away). We brought their own blankets, a toy for each, and all the medications our 1 dog takes for her allergies.
During the day, each dog was walked through the fields, fed, and the 3 of them were in a kennel together (it was one of the larger ones). In the middle of the day the 3 of them were put in the fenced in play yard so they could run and play together.
The staff is wonderful. They told me before I left that I would see pictures and videos of my dogs on Instagram. This was a wonderful suprise. I found myself scrolling through Instagram in anticipation!
During the check in process, we spent a lot of time going through how my dogs liked to be treated and what should they expect. My 1 dog requires meds and she sometimes has ear infections. They checked her ears daily and had no problem giving her, her allergy shots.
I would board them again and will probably need to do so, sooner than later. I know they are in the best possible hands when I must travel.
"Are you sure you have the correct kennel name? I have no record of anyone by your name boarding a dog here. Missy Lemoi"
I have used the service twice. We found them on Angie's List.
I would recommend them.
They seem to love dogs and have a sincere interest in providing quality care.
They provided care and love for my dog while I was away. Very pleased with the communication during the trip and the genuine concern the workers provided.
Our dog did lose quite a bit of weight but not sure they could have done anything to avoid that.
Our dog came back with better behavior and socialization.
Pricing wise - it is fair but not cheap. You get what you pay for.
Well worth the money.
They also offered reasonably priced luxury services for which we opted and it was reported that our dog enjoyed them.
We were so pleased we paid an additional tip.
We will definitely kennel our dog with them in the future and highly recommend to others.
Missy runs her kennel in a professional manner. She treats the dogs like her own! We leave our dog knowing that he is in the best of care, and in good hands! Being a dog trainer and owner herself, is an added plus for Missy!
We wouldn't go any place else!
