First I was quoted a monthly payment, then when I signed the papers it was $30 higher without any notice or explanation. When questioned, the salesman said he couldn't quite get the interest rate he originally thought. It was supposed to have a very good, remainder of factory warranty, to 100,000 miles and only had 27,000 on it, so I didn't get an "extended warranty" at the time. ONE MONTH in, something in the steering went wrong and it cost $600 to fix, of course it wasn't covered, which I didn't understand why and the VERY cocky, unprofessional salesman said, "it's your fault, you chose not to get the extended warranty". I was so ******. Like anyone knows what exactly is covered on any of these warranties. It said bumper to bumper and when questioned this same salesman told me it's an excellent warranty that will cover anything but normal wear.... not so I guess. I can understand the warranties somewhat, it is what it is but this cocky attitude salesman made me want to punch him right in his smug face. I'll NEVER shop here again!

We ordered Toyota Highlander Hybrid and received delivery March, 2013.  

When temperature rose it required using air conditioner.  The next day the air conditioning had mildewy smell that slowly dissipated with use.  It continued to happen the following day after each use.  

Salesman told me that shouldn't happen, it would be covered under warranty and proceed to service.

Over the course of a year and a half multiple fixes were attempted including sprays, foam, cabin filter replacement and charcoal cabin filter.  The problem continued and worsened.  The mildewy smell would alternate with a vinegar smell.  It took longer to clear or would remain.

Service, per Toyota, stated it was a maintenance issue not covered by warranty.  The service team was unable to resolve with routine or special maintenance.  Replacing the AC unit or parts would be a cost entirely covered by us.

I attempted using Toyota's Lemon Law.  When the Lemon Law department contacted Milham they only found 3 of 5 attempts at repair documented.  I was told that 4 attempts were required the case was dismissed.

The 6th repair was when the AC drain clogged and flooded the interior of my car.

For $18 (waived) they cleared the drain by either "sticking something up into line" or blowing air.  

A Toyota regional technical specialist evaluated vehicle and it was determined  that the AC system problem was not covered by warranty and was, again, a maintenance issue.

Carpet remained wet and replacement fee was almost $1000.

The owner is Tom Koch.  He offered to accept the vehicle for trade at 75% of the purchase price.  Mr. Koch said he would sell at auction immediately.  I noted that would be terrible for the next buyer.  Eventually, he stopped returning phone calls.  Finally, when I mentioned litigating to his secretary he called back to yell, "Let it rip!"

On another note, a service manager offered confidential medical information about an employee that was very inappropriate.

Morning after repair there was a large puddle of oil on garage floor under engine.  Oil was still dripping from gasket replaced.
They required truck for another entire day.  No transportation offered.  Gasket had been folded and was replaced properly.  
They offered no reparations for vehicle time lost or stained garage floor.
In retrospect, I believe i was slammed for a $1000 repair.  It was done badly and the stain on my garage floor reminds me to be a better consumer.

The car was expected to do about 32 miles a gallon. We mentioned that to them and my wife and I think it should be higher. They checked it and said everything was still okay, but just yesterday we drove for about 100 miles and the highest we got on it was at 24.5 miles per gallon. We thought we should have at least 26 or 27, but that didn't work out. We did make trip to Florida last year and we got a 26 miles per gallon, but we have not since. They do provide a good and fine service. The car rides fine and we have not had any issue handling it. We hope the mileage will improve in the future.

They have a survey right after the service. Sometimes you don't know until a few weeks later that something is wrong. For instance, once they left the oil cap off and my car smelled like gas for weeks.

I made an appointment to have the 10K service done three weeks in advance. When I arrived for my appointment I was told it would take approximately 1-1/2 hours. They asked me if I was going to wait for the car and I said yes. Proceeded to wait for my car. During that time no one came out to say my car was almost ready, not ready etc. I finally went out and spoke to someone in the service area. They went to find out what the hold-up was. 3-1/4 hours later my car was ready. That amount of time is just not acceptable for the work that was performed.

Extremely professional shop. Definite improvement in transmission shifting after service. Courtesy van transportation to my home and back. There are two Toyota dealers closer to my house, but I have been using Dick Milham for the past five years.

You have hundreds of FORD dealers within 100 miles and cannot understand why anyone would want to shop at Dick Milham ford..

Looking for a used car. Shifted from one sales person to another. Pulled my credit report before I was ready to buy! Would NOT negotiate on any prices. The price on the cars is what it is and no one will make a deal. NOT customer friendly. They are out or themslves and NOT you. Don't go there.

Milham's service department is first class with lots of attention and they LISTEN to your concerns. A warning light for my stability control had been coming on and the mechanics spent over an hour of extra time to analyze any potential problems in addition to my normal service. I purchased my vehicle at Milham and it was the best experience I've ever had with a dealership and their service department has also exceeded my expectations.

Due to flooding from major rainstorms, their power was out and their emergency backup generator failed. They offered to re-schedule the appointment or we could leave the car and they would do the work as soon as they could locate and install another generator and restore power. Since we didn't need the car, we left it with them. Later that morning, they notified us that they located a generator and that they expected it to be installed late that afternoon. They said the car would be serviced that afternoon or first thing in the morning depending upon when electric was restored. They notified us at 8am the following morning that our car was ready. Their customer service and workmanship always meets expectations. Their communication related to the weather-related electrical problem was exceptional. They did everything in their power to provide timely service despite circumstances beyond their control.

I don't like the high-pressure sales they implement to persuade you to buy when it's time to trade and they definitely do a bait-and switch if you don't challenge them. This is my 2nd vehicle with Milham but it will be my last. It's not a good way for a manufacturer to be represented but I understand that the firm needs to push volume to keep their bottom line in the 'black'. I don't like the way they pressure you to buy unnecessary item to bulk up their bottom line. I came from a Chrysler dealership (across the road to be exact) and was very happy there. Chrysler did not have a vehicle in their product line that I really wanted which is why I went to Milham. Hopefully when my lease is up, Chrysler will have increased their product offerings. Even if Chrysler does not I'll search for another dealer and be more diligent by reasearching them first before I buy or lease again.

It’s a ford dealership and I have a ford. I realized that it’s a good way to keep up with the changes that happens as my car gets older. They are relatively efficient and knowledgeable. Except for having an air-bound waiting room, they are fine. I don’t get to see the mechanics there till the time I'm told it's done. I would recommend them to others and would use their services again in the future. I would have to get it inspected again.
