Appliance Repair
One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had, if you are thinking of contacting this business for appliance repair, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. First scheduled appointment was supposed to happen Tuesday August 30th 2016 between 3:30 and 5:30pm, which was set up through Whirlpool. Since I work in the city and my fiance is a teacher, we couldn't make the appointment before that time window, we were very clear about that and were given the okay. Regardless, they showed up at 1:00pm when no one was home. No biggie, I figured it's okay, let's just reschedule. Fast forward to Thursday September 8th, I took the day off and they gave us a window between 11:00am and 1:00pm. They even left an automated voicemail to confirm the night before. The next day I waited, and waited... and they never showed, not even a phone call. I texted my fiance to see if they contacted her since they had her number as the point of contact and she called them to see what the deal was and apparently their technician tried calling her during school hours and when no one answered he decided to blow off the appointment. She called to speak with a manager and he told her that since his technician could not get her on the phone he decided it wasn't worth keeping the appointment. The manager also stated that we would be billed for travel time yet his technician didn't even come down to our house, there was no knock on the door, nothing. The manager then asked her if she would like to reschedule and when she said that we would not due to their unprofessional behavior, he abruptly hung up. If you are looking for rude and untrustworthy people to service your appliances, look no further. Otherwise, contact someone else.

First the motor was replaced and I was told it would last another 8 years; the dryer still was not operating effectively. AAS could not accurately diagnose the issue despite the four visits; they scheduled times to come for the repair showed up over two hours late without a phone call to advise me; they left the work area dirty and messy after their visits. They were extremely unprofessional. I ended up having to buy a new dryer. I would never use them again.

Our refrigerator /freezer stop cooling during the week of Fourth of July. We understood that it was going to be difficult to get an appointment with the holiday falling on Thursday. Initially we were promised there would be somebody there before 1 o'clock on Friday the 5th. After a few Follow up calls, he arrived in the late afternoon on Friday
I have already removed all our frozen food to a neighbors spare freezer and are refrigerated food and drink what was left of it was in a cooler with ice.
The service man was courteous and professional. Because refrigerator and freezer was already empty ,he was able to get to the source of the problem quickly The coils on the condenser were frozen and had to be defrosted. After about 45 min. to an hour he inform me that ASM Main control ( circuit board ) was shot and that was the source of the problem. It was not allowing the refrigerator to cycle through to the defrost mode and the coils would continue to freeze up. that was was more than I was expecting and I did give some thought to buying a new refrigerator. he advised me that that the unit was still really good and with a new circuit board that would last for many years. So I decided to go for the repair. Within 4 days it was not cooling again. Called Authorized Appliances and inform them of the situation. Again transferred all the frozen food and refrigerated food. Repairman showed up within a day and replaced a temperature sensor, a far less expensive part. there is no charge for the 2nd visit and a refrigerator/ freezer has worked great ever since.
My concern is did I need the expensive circuit board or just the temperatures sensor. They took the original circuit board so there's no way of knowing if it was good or bad. This created a large doubt in my mind, and led me to question the credibility.
That's why I over all score is a C and that I most likely not use them again. Trust is so important with people that work in your home are on your car. I'm afraid to say they did not earn my trust.

The repairman was courteous, friendly and efficient. This company charges a flat rate for coming to the house and labor. Any additional charges are for parts. The first charge was $132.45. That was for coming out to the house, diagnosing the problem and labor to replace the part. The part was $107.40.
I rated the price at and quot;Band quot; because we always want a better price! However, I think if he had charged by time, the price would have been much higher.

I contacted Authorized Appliance Service as recommended by the KitchenAid contact at their service number on the oven. I spoke with Randy and explained the error message I was receiving on the oven control panel. I asked if the control panel was available, since the error pointed to it as the problem. He stated that the part was listed as available fom his supplier, if it was needed. A service representative was sent to check the oven and confirm that the control panel was the problem. I service call payment of $132 had to paid at this visit. Randy then called a few days later, to tell me the part was no longer being manufactured, but it could be repaired, even though his supplier still showed it as available. I agreed to have it repaired, since I really like my oven and did not want to replace it. He explained the cost of the repair and I agreed to have it done. A second service call was made to remove the part. There was no charge for this visit. I was called to schedule a time to re-install the repaired part and Randy came to deliver and install it. He tested the functions that were not working and also all other functions of the panel. I was charge the $254 that I agreed to. All of the service persons were professional and completed their part of the job without problems. I would use this company again.

We called about our dryer that wouldn't heat, and got an appointment for the next afternoon between 1:00 and 4:00. The serviceman arrived during that time. He replaced a fuse and showed that the dryer now heated. The charge was $125 for the visit plus parts for about $200. I used the dryer the next day and the first load did not dry -- no heat again. I called and they said they would send him back that day. He took the dryer apart and changed the same fuse, but had to call someone on the phone to explain things to him. This left me wondering if he really knew what to do. He said he had to change something else also. Later, he called me to see that there was a big buildup of lint in an area we couldn't reach with our big lint brush -- the dryer had to be taken apart to get at it. He cleaned it out and tested it for a longer period this time. He also recommended that we get the vent tubes cleaned out. This time the dryer worked the next day and has since. I think he should have thought to check for the lint buildup the first time, but since there was no charge for the second visit, I wasn't too mad. Ultimately, they were prompt and did come right back to fix it at no additional charge.

The service technician showed up on time and performed the repair very quickly. He also advised us on proper oven use/maintenance to prevent inconsistent heating issues. He was very personable and a pleasure to do business with.

Aaron arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem with our front-load dryer, had the part by the next day, and charged exactly what he had estimated. I'm glad that I found this company. Will definitely use then again.

Overall the service was excellent and extremely professional. The repairman was well groomed, properly attired and he had a very nice personality. His knowledge of our washing machine was excellent and he was very informative when my wife and I asked him questions regarding the condition and the life expectancy of our washer. Without a doubt we will continue to use this service in the future and we will recommend them to anybody who has a problem with any of their appliances.
