I called 5 different roofing businesses for a leak around my exhaust vent which caused water to drip into the kitchen.This is the ONLY business that promptly responded to my call.I spoke with AL Jr. & he promised someone would be out by the end of the day.As promised 2 of his work crew came out, assessed the problem,fixed it for now& also checked all my roofing.Hector &John explained what needed to be done.I asked for an estimate & told them I knew they were busy,so it's no rush since the leak is fixed for now.The office called me twice to make sure someone was coming that day& after to see how it went & to confirm the work& future repairs.I will be using them for all my future roof work. While in my unfinished attic with the A/C installer, I noted a silver dollar size hole in the peak of my roof. I called Al Smith and told him I needed repairs. He responded the next morning at 0800.
He fixed the hole, and the entire ridge, and looked over my roof and found cracked and missing slates. He fixed all the issues.
His crew is polite and very professional, they cleaned up after the job.

I called a couple of companies, one never called back, one called back and told me to stand by the phone last Friday, they were coming and would call me....no call back.
So I called Al Smith Roofing, Easton, PA. The guy I should have called in the first place. I left a message and the next day he called me back. I told him about my slate roof issues and he promised to get to my home in the next week. Well a couple of days later, Al knocks on my door and is ready to repair my roof. I pointed out the missing slates and the broken slates. His two man crew went right to work and properly replaced the slates. There was no just slipping in a slate. Each slate was prepared and nailed properly and the nail holes were covered. His crew always does an excellent job. They know slate and I advise anyone with a slate roof that needs TLC to call Al Smith Roofing. Time and time again he provides Five Star Service.
Last year I invested over 750.00 in replacing many slates and my roof is in the best shape it has been in a long time.

It appears if your project is considered "small" or not thousands of dollars many companies are not interested.

The work was done at my rental property.  The price was very fair, and the work was done promptly and very well.  I would highly recommend Al Smith.

Al Roofing did an excellent job. They were quick, efficient, and cleaned up well. They also worked well with the insurance company. They were able to do the job in two days, and I had no problems with them.
