He responded the same day and fixed it quickly and professionally.

Called Randy and left a message.  A short time later he returned my call.  Explained to him we were having a hot water issue and maybe needed new elements.  He came the next day and after looking at it with me and we saw evidence of a leak and we both agreed that I needed another unit (it was an old unit) as there was a good deal of water under the heater.  He quoted me a price, I agreed, he left to get the unit and came back and installed it for the quoted price exactly.  He was friendly and we spoke in general about water heaters, etc  He cleaned up after himself and was gone in a short time.  The water heater works great and we are back to nice hot water!  Would highly recommend him to my friends and to anyone who needs a plumber. 

There was lots of miss-communication. He did not give me an estimate, he did work but not work that I knew about because he didn't tell me he was doing it. I refused to pay the bill because the problem was never fixed.

I called Randy and he came out at 8:30 the next morning (arrived 10 minutes early) and attended to the replacement. He even moved the old toilet to the curb for trash pickup that night. He was professional and the cost was exactly what his estimate had been. We were very pleased and would recommend Butz plumbing.

He was very good. He came in and did a good job.
