Pocono Paint Chip

Hired Walter to paint the main living areas of our house we just brought. He is very detailed and spackled and filled in holes where needed and cleaned up the dings on the stair case. Even cleaned up a wall in our family room that needed additional spackling and sanding due to previous owner removing a fish tank ( you would never know now that there was a tank in the wall). Very please with his work and would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Needless mistakes. The ladder he used made dents and scratches in the hardwood floors. He did not use the proper paint for the bathrooms. As a result, the paint used is peeling in both bathrooms. The wallpaper removal was a disaster. The walls were blemished in many areas. Walt's a nice guy, but not a pro.

The job went very well, Walter was both professional and very friendly. Would definitely hire again!

Walt did an excellent job. He did not miss any days during the two weeks required to finish the job. Walt is a conscientious and friendly guy. He is willing to move furniture around and makes no demands on the homeowner. Best of all, the work is being done by the owner.

I had worked with Walter on previous interior paint jobs, but this was going to be a major project. It involved power washing the entire home and then, after a suitable time for complete drying, two coats of stain. We reached agreement quickly on a price. He showed up on time and worked relentlessly until the job was done. My wife and I were pleased with the result and have received numerous compliments from friends and neighbors. Walter did a fantastic job. This was our vacation home so I had to take a leap of faith and give Walter a key. Well, he was honest, hard working, flexible, and did a great painting job. Once we save up some more money, we plan on having him paint the bedrooms. If you need a painter in the Pocono region, look no further.

From the beginning estimate, Walter was extremely professional. He was the only painter I called who could come in a reasonable amount of time, and his estimates were spot on. We hired him to do only those rooms we couldn't do ourselves (2-story rooms), but after he was done and we saw the meticulous work he did, we promptly hired him to paint our entire downstairs. He worked well with our request for no-VOC paints and special-order paint colors. He's not cheap, but neither was his work. I'd would definitely hire him again.

Clearly a self taught painter. Not near as meticulous as I wanted. Quite a number of paint drips on my newly painted trim, although he did put done drop cloths. Some paint drips on other wood too.

Walt did a very good job on a difficult project with a lot of wallpaper removal. The paper came off poorly in many spots which required a lot of prep work before painting. Walt ended up having to put an prime coat and two finish coats on many walls. The house looks great thanks to Walt's willingness and expertise to do the job the right way. He completed the work on time and on budget.

The guy is a true gentleman and takes a lot of pride in his work. It was excellent service. The guy followed through on his home calls and followed through on his estimates on time and executed the job on time. It’s hard to find a painter and a Pocono that completes something on time. The price was excellent.

Walter could not have been more accommodating or professional. His work was excellent! He was in constant communication throughout even calling to go over colors. Timely, professional and reasonable. Who could ask for anything more? Will use again.

Called Pocono Paint Chip for an estimate for painting part of my home that I was unable due to very high ceilings and walls. Chip arrived as planned to provide a free estimate. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and his price seemed fair for the job to be done--so we hired him. He was always easy to reach on the phone when I had any questions. The job took 3 days to complete (on time) and came out beautiful!! No paint drips anywhere to be found! I would definitely recommend him and I would hire him again when the need arises.

Walter did a fantastic job at painting the interior of our house.  The use of quality paint coupled with his skill ensured success.  

The project included some drywall repair and wall paper removal in two of the bathrooms.  Walter was detailed thorough and clean.  He took his time and removed all fixtures and did had wonderful attn: to detail around trim, mouldings and other items.  I would highly recommend Pocono Paint Chip and hire Walter again.  He was timely, finished within agreed upon date and ensured I was highly satisfied with the way the house looked.  It made it appear new and fresh.  Wish we did it sooner.
