He did a good job!

Dave is top notch The work was completed timely and well done.

We hired Dave to do multiple small projects as well as asked for a bid for a portico. Our intention was to use him for future larger projects. He originally told us the estimate was $300-$400 (which he later denied) we had him remove a cabinet, re purpose some mounding and install an outlet in another cabinet. Also he was to install a faucet. Before he started, my wife asks him to install an electronics outlet in a kitchen drawer. He finished the cabinet work but needed to come back for the rest. He said we owed him. $500. OK, higher than what he told us but I figured he was coming back to install the electronics drawer. he came back within 3 days which was great. He installed the electronic drawer and faucet which took him about 5 hours. I also had him reinstall the outlet over the stove that "he took out" that he re purposed under our counter. After he was done he said we owed him. $250.00 more. I told him that if I had known he was going to charge me that much I wouldn't have used him. He said the electronics drawer was not in the original bid and he charged me for putting the outlet back in the wall. (Which he knew I needed since I was installing a hood over the stove) so be careful with the guy. The work was good but get everything in writing from him. He will gouge you otherwise. I'm sorry this is so long but a couple of other things. He gave us a bid to build a portico over our front door. $6,500 This is for material costing less than $1,000, I think he thought we had a lot of money and based his bidding accordingly. We had other estimates between $2,500-$3,500. And his customer service is cxxx. At one point he told my wife to be quiet when she was talking to me. I understand his hearing isn't good and he was trying to find a wire in the wall, but really? So in a nutshell, showed up late, used one of my tools, told my wife to be quiet, sighed throughout the day and overcharges. Avoid the heartache and do not use him. I honesty don't understand how he had so many good reviews. If we had known we wouldn't have used him. Yes I know I'm writing this while I'm mad but it's all true. He'd rather have the money than the reputation. I specifically told him we weren't happy with him overcharging us. He shook my hand and said sorry.

Final project turned out great.

David is a professional. I would hire him again.

I hired Dave several years ago to provide maintenance on a rental home and this was the best decision made. Dave has helped with home maintenance, minor to large repairs (a bear tore my window; he picked up and installed the new window). The lovely part of my story is I am a long distance landlady and since 2013, I only communicated with Dave via telephone and he would send me pics of the repairs via telephone. It was in 2017 that we finally met in person when the tenants moved out and he came to the house to do a interior painting job (did a great job!). Dave is professional, personable and gets the job done. He is also fair in the costs and his suggestion to what you need to have done. I will hire Dave again for any home maintenance or repairs.

Dave's prices are a little high, his work is good, communication and reliability are suspect.

Dave is very personable and he worked with me well taking into consideration my preferences. He also help me cut costs. :)

David and his helper were both incredibly nice people.

David installed a new ceiling fan in my living room and a hanging pendant light at the top of my spiral staircase. He and his helper were incredibly nice, were there when scheduled, and got the job done quickly. I will hire him again for other jobs that I need to get done that I can't do myself.

dave and hid assistant were great. they did everything in a timely manner, and did it well. would hire them again for anything.

I had to call him the day of the service several times on the day of the project. They were running late, which is understandable if they were on another job, but a phone call stating that would have been appreciated! Once they arrived the work was done in a Very professional manner.

He was nice , went to pick up the materials for me, however I did think it was over price , but the work was done

Dave completed a difficult tile repair job professionally and on a timely basis. Very pleased with the work, would hire again.

Friendly and easy to work with. Fixed the drain on my tub and installed an electrical panel. Pleased with work.

Dave is pationate about his work. He made a wood railing for my porch, fixed a door and screen to perfection. A few more small jobs to do and everyone is happy. Reasonable price too...

I am so glad I found Dave. Initially was just handyman work but now he is my go to contractor. He is reasonable and easy to work with. He goes above and beyond what is needed. E.g. He finished renovating my bathroom and now helped me get my drive way ready for propane gas delivery in the middle of winter to ensure hot water is running properly. I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again. I already hire him back for laundry room painting and will work with him on other fixes and home improvement needs.

David did quality work very quickly. He tackled various types of work and excelled at all of them. We will surely use him again for the next phase of our remodeling project.

David is solid as a rock and does almost everything you can imagine. I'm making a list of all the things I want him to do in the future. Very, very happy with workmanship and problem solving abilities.

In order for Mr. Chelnik to install this light fixture, he had to remove and then replace ceramic tiles. He made every effort to keep the dust from traveling throughout the house. The tile work is perfect. You would never know that it had been replaced. The fixture looks like it's been there forever. I will certainly call him again.
