Aqua Pool Inc

I noticed soon after the pool was operational that the water level was dropping. There was supposed to be an automatic fill that would go on when the water level went down from evaporation. I had Aqua Pool come out to investigate, and it turned out that they had never installed the fill mechanism. The pipes that the pool water circulates through in the machine room are copper, and have recently begun to spring leaks at the rate of about one a week. They are horribly corroded inside, and the whole system needs to be replaced with PVC. Copper shouldn't have been used for pool water because the salt and chlorine eat through the metal. As for service, the guys who came weekly to check pool chemicals failed to close the filter on the outdoor pool properly one week. When we went over to swim a day later, the water had poured out of the pool through the filter, causing the water level in the pool to drop faster than the auto fill could keep up with. The pool cover, which has to be supported by the water, fell into the emptying pool, snapping the tracks off the coping stones. Water continued to pour into and out of the pool until we found out what had happened and turned it off. It was a disaster. The pool was 3/4 empty, the cover had fallen in, and the tracks were mangled past use -- and the coping stones were cracked and chipped. We fired Aqua Pool soon thereafter.
