Greenhouse and Nursery Service
This is a store that sells bird seed, feeder, bathes etc for wild birds. I used to buy seed for my feeders there. The last time I was in looking around I saw some sparrow traps. I asked about it. The owner said that he sells them to people that are interested in blue birds. The house sparrow supposely invades the bluebirds nest causing harm to the eggs or hatchlings. The traps are used to catch the sparrow. Once the sparrows are caught what happens to them. Nobody seems to want to talk about that. Let's just say that harm in one shape or another comes to the sparrow. I will not shop at this store again because I'm not going to support ( spending money in the store) a store that promotes killing birds. I don't care what kind of a bird it is.
Also, the price of seed jumped $3 in 2 weeks. I had just been there and the purchased a bag of seed for $18. This trip the bag was $21. And just looking around for Christmas gifts the prices in the store were outragously expensive.
