Workers came on time and performed the work and cleaned up professionally

It went exceedingly well! Justin was there when he said he'd be there, his workers were top notch craftsmen, the job was done perfectly. I would definitely hire them again!!!!!!

Excellent work

First, Justin and his helpers are nice people. Mostly they did a decent job of putting in a swale along the back of my house to divert surface water runoff. As the estimate did not include the width and depth of the swale, I followed up by email and Justin replied that the swale would be 6 feet wide and 6 inches deep. That's what I wanted. Justin actually dug the swale 6 feet wide and 12 inches deep. As 12 inches is too deep, water pooled at end of swale instead of running off. Justin then wanted to sell me a gravel-filled well, which I declined. Justin then agreed to partly fill in the lower 15 feet of swale where the water pooled. This mostly fixed the pooling, but not entirely. As the 12-inch deep swale as dug was too abrupt to mow with my 42-inch lawn tractor, I asked Justin for an estimate to lay a strip of sod down the middle of the swale to make it more shallow. Never got the estimate, although I followed up by text and their web site. Simply ignored me. I was surprised and disappointed by this bit of rudeness. If the job was not wanted, they could simply have said they were booked. After wasting time waiting for a reply, I ultimately hired someone else to install the sod.

Pruning and weeding was well done and efficient. Tree removal was not as smooth. During initial consultation we discussed removal and stump grinding however upon removal day JB did not intend to remove stump. They did partially make it right by sending out the stump grinder later that day but left the yard a complete mess. It wouldn't have been so bad if the grinder didn't compact down all of the grindings. my intent was to plant grass but now i need some else to clean out the mess.

They responded right away and did the work within 2 weeks.

The price quoted by JB Outdoor Services was fair and reasonable. Overall, they did a very good job. A portion of my job was priced as a time and materials fee project. However, I found Justin's crew to be very efficient and professional. They did not waste time and left my yard cleaner than it was to start with.

It took 2 months from signing the quote and about 20 calls to the company to get them on site. i expect summers are busy and unpredictable weather wise for landscapers but I don't expect a month delay with no communication, unless I call and ask if they will be arriving as expected. They did come onsite and worked through a quick rain cloud. When finished, they kept the debris on my front lawn for 2 days before coming back to remove it. They also removed a flowering plant I told them to keep planted but came back and replaced it with another plant. They also did not enough mulch in the area. While they were not rude or difficult to work with, they did seem to have very poor communication and expectations with customers.

We hired JB Outdoor after finding them on Angie's list. Justin came over to check it out and gave me a fair price over email soon thereafter. They were able to push up the time to work on my schedule, which I appreciated. Solid crew with Justin came and worked hard clearing out our mulched areas and making them look much better. I was pleased and so were our neighbors who were interested in hiring them as well. Very happy with our experience.

The experience I had with Justin and his team was exceptional. From the beginning, when reaching out for an estimate, to the final installation of our walkway and new landscaping was terrific. His pricing is reasonable and he delivers superior service. Very good to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

I've had Justin and his crew do various yard clean-up jobs for Spring and Fall, and they have become my regular landscaper, doing lawn cuts/trims weekly all summer long. I can't say enough good things about them. They do fantastic work, and fast, because they send a good-sized crew. I needed a fall cleanup done, and Justin agreed to wait until after Thanksgiving to do the cleanup with no issues. The day after thanksgiving I got a call from his assistant, and they were out 2 days later, and got it all done in a short period of time, and it looks great. The attention to detail is what I appreciate most. Just from the looks of what's in their trucks, they are using better equipment than the last couple companies I've had do work on my property over the years. Their pricing is below what I've been quoted by other landscapers in my area. I hope to continue to do business with JB Outdoor Services in the future.
