Farmerboy Furniture

We were looking for a new dining room table and sideboard for our home. A friend suggested we try Farmer Boy Furniture. While the outside of the shop looks like a upscale flea market for lawn decoration, the inside is filled with custom made furniture that is beautiful. We were drawn to a table and chairs that had a two tone finish that we just fell in love with. We then discussed having a matching sideboard with hutch and a large TV stand built. Scott the owner and designer sat down with us and listened to our needs and we were able to design what we needed and he drew it up on the spot so we could see what it looked like. He gave us prices for each piece which was well within our budget and was a better deal for solid custom made furniture compared to what the big retailers had to offer. We ordered all three pieces and put down a small deposit. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks to be built. Scott designs and measures out all the pieces and has Amish builders in Ohio make the furniture to his specs. 7.5 weeks later he called to arrange delivery and delivered it the same day he called. The furniture was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! All solid wood, top shelf hardware and just a beautiful finish! Everything was gorgeous! My wife and I couldn't have been happier! The quality on these pieces just blows away those in the big retail stores. I just can't say enough how nice this furniture is! We will be ordering more furniture from Farmer Boy Furniture! The pieces purchased were: 42" x 54" two tone table that is expandable from 72" to 90" using two 18" leaves that store in the table and 6 chair, two of which are captains chairs. 62 W x 78" H x 19" D sideboard/hutch. Sideboard has 5 drawers, the top 3 are the same depth and the bottom two center drawers are graduated in depth with the deepest drawer at the bottom. There are doors on both sides on the bottom with an adjustable shelf inside. The hutch portion has two glass front doors with an adjustable shelf inside and a center area with one fixed shelf. The tv stand is 60" W x 33" x 19" D, with 4 drawers on top, two component shelves on the middle bottom, with a door on each bottom with an adjustable shelf inside.
