I have them come out once a year. I'm thinking not to ask them to come back again. When I originally started using them, they had an older guy that was marvelous, and he used to actually come out with the crews and watch them work and make sure that what we agreed on they did. But he left and now they have a younger guy and he just lets the crews come out and he doesn't watch them. The thing is, last year we had an agreement. I have a wooded lot, pretty much half acre wooded lot, and there's a large Maple tree we agreed that they would cut it back 20 feet - all the branches. The leaves were off and they did about half the tree but they charged me the full amount of money, which was a couple thousand dollars. So I just won't use them again. I liked them because they were very professional when they started out and I was using them for like, I think this past year was the third year. They're a little bit pricey, but when I first started using them, they were really professional. I had a bunch of Ash trees and I let them treat them. They have like a chemical that they inject into the trunk. They came out and they injected my trees and it was like $1,800 and I learned that I could buy some stuff from Amazon that would do the same thing for like $20. That was last year. And I have that Maple tree and I have a Sweet Gum tree that they were supposed to trim back. They did about half the work and they charged me the full price. The young guy that did the estimate never even asked me. I usually have someone come out before the trees leaf out. When I first started out it was excellent - like a five star rating. But now, three years later, they're just fair. What they did was fine. They cleaned up real nice, but they didn't do all the work. The quality of the work is good, but they're not doing all the work that they contracted for. This young guy came out and we made a verbal agreement, and then he put it in writing what they were gonna do and then they didn't do it. They did half of it, or maybe three quarters of it, but they didn't live up to the agreement. I'm 70 years old; I'm not gonna get in an argument with these people - I just won't have them back. On punctuality, they're excellent. That's what I liked about them. It's just a matter of managing their crews, they've really slipped. Before, when the older guy was running the show, there was no problem at all. He would show up before they finished up with what we agreed on, but this young guy, I don't even see him. I mean, he shows up to give me the estimate. His crews, they call me or contact me when the crews are gonna show up so I know the day they're coming. But then the guys kinda work on their own and do what they're gonna do and then leave. I never see the manager or whatever his title is. It's not professionalism. It's more the management of their company. Professionalism, in my eyes, means their ability to understand the work that needs to be done, and I think that in that respect they know exactly what needs to be done. They come out, they understand the work, they do the work and all the rest of it, but they're highly priced; I mean they're overpriced. And now, the agreement that we had this past year, they didn't live up to the entire contract. The guy usually does just come out on his own. He gives me an estimate, then he bills me and then I pay. It's not like one of these deals where I like string it out and don't pay him for a couple of years. I pay him right on the spot, so in the Winter time he can count on me to keep his crews working. That's not gonna happen any more. If he's not gonna live up to his contract, then I don't need him. I'm paying a premium price already and he's not gonna do the work, the way I see it is he's just making a fool out of me just because I'm an old person. They should have lived up to their contract.
